6 Dangerous Signs Most People Ignore Until It's Too Late. #SafetyAwareness #TrustYourGut #SelfProtection #StayAlert #PersonalSafety
This video is very much inspired by a dear friend of mine (you know who you are❤️)
This friend helped me realise that I wasn’t standing up for myself or protecting myself at aaaaall. Her anger made my question why I didn’t feel any??
Now I know I need protection and I consistently stop and check in with myself to see if and when that protection is required.
Slowly and surely anger has come back into my life, not in an uncontrolled, explosive or cruel way, but in a quiet, strong, protective way.
Sometimes it looks like a boundary, sometimes it looks like leaving a situation and other times it simply looks like staying aware!
If this is you, I recommend you join the Self Trust Club (link in bio), we’re doing this work together as a community and it’s pretty damn cool😉

People say, “Keep your head on a swivel,” but what does that actually mean?
Keep it simple. Remember this:
SCAN
S — See your environment
Pay attention to what is going on around you. Who is near you? What looks out of place? Where are your exits?
C — Create space
If something feels off, create distance. You do not need to stand there and figure it out up close.
A — Act deliberately
Do not freeze. Do not drift. Move with purpose and make a decision.
N — Never doubt your instincts
If something feels wrong, take it seriously. Do not explain it away just to be polite or avoid feeling awkward.
That is what situational awareness looks like in real life.

Many people believe that simply possessing or verbally announcing a weapon will automatically deter an attacker. In reality, violent crime often works very differently. Individuals with a criminal mindset do not think according to the same moral or emotional patterns as law-abiding citizens. Many offenders carefully observe their target and use deception, distraction, and controlled approaches to close distance and gain a tactical advantage.
Some offenders deliberately take advantage of the legal and psychological hesitation that armed civilians often have. They understand that a lawful weapon carrier cannot act recklessly and is usually only legally justified in using force once an immediate threat is clearly present. Criminals may attempt to exploit this brief window of hesitation to act first and cause harm. For this reason, professional security concepts do not rely solely on intimidation or verbal warnings, but on situational awareness, distance management, early recognition of pre-attack indicators, and tactical behavior under stress.
The behavioral patterns and tactics shown in this video are also not new or “secret knowledge.” These methods have been known within criminal environments for a long time and are already used by offenders. The purpose of this video is therefore not to spread new methods, but to provide factual awareness about how such criminal strategies work, so people can better recognize warning signs and protect themselves responsibly.
For the same reason, professional security personnel, law enforcement officers, and other trained professionals generally do not allow suspects or potentially dangerous individuals to independently reach into concealed areas or expose parts of the body where weapons could be hidden. These actions are typically controlled by security personnel once the individual has been placed in a secure and compliant position. This practice exists because offenders may use deception, distraction, or seemingly harmless movements to suddenly access weapons or dangerous objects.

Let's Talk About It: 52 IS MORE THAN BLOCKS...
One of the biggest misconceptions about 52 is that it begins and ends with upper-body defense. But if your movement protects only your head while leaving the rest of your body exposed, you haven’t learned the complete system.
52 VtK trains you to protect the entire body, recognize unconventional attacks, and respond offensively from wherever the danger comes.
Don’t settle for isolated techniques. Learn the system behind them.
