Meet The Vegetable Man (West Virginia Cryptid) 🌿👀 Ever heard of West Virginia’s weirdest cryptid? Meet The Vegetable Man — part plant, part alien, ALL nightmare fuel. 🗓️ First spotted: 1968 near Fairmont, WV 🌲 Location: Deep Appalachian woods 👤 Witness description: Tall, thin, greenish figure — with bark-like skin, leaf-shaped limbs, suction-cup fingers (!!!) — and glowing RED eyes staring from the forest edge. 🍃 Weird Fact Time: → The Vegetable Man supposedly spoke to its witness telepathically. → It made a high-pitched noise like a record player speeding up. → The creature drained blood from the witness using its weird finger tips — kinda like a plant-vampire. Why don’t more people talk about this cryptid?? 👀 Appalachian cryptids are wild, weird, and absolutely underrated. 💚 Like weird creatures? 💬 Comment your fave cryptid! 🔔 Follow @TheCryptidCloset1 for MORE cryptid creatures. #vegetableman #appalachian #cryptids

The fine folks at @getpkup sent me some P’KUPs to try out (and make a video showcasing them, this is probably what they meant right?) So what is a P’KUP? It’s basically a handheld suction cup specifically designed to lift cards. You push the cup down on a card and it will stick, making it easy to lift the card. Pushing the top of the device will then release the card. The real magic, however, comes from lifting several cards. Once you have one, you can put it down on another and it will lift it up as well! You can do this several times and it’s incredible. The number of cards you’ll be able to pick up like this is dependent on the card material and finish. I’ve found some cards can maybe only get one or two extra, but with others I could grab a lot more. So what’s the point of all this? It will dramatically reduce card wear, or make playing games with cards a lot easier for those with issues picking them up due to things like arthritis. The P’KUP is absolutely phenomenal for those who deal with those issues, but I don’t have issues handling cards nor do I care that much about wear. What other reason could I have for loving these? They’re just a lot of fun to use! I’ve also found it super helpful for those board games that are absolute table hogs. Reaching across the whole table to grab a card is way easier with one of these! My wife has definitely been judging me for the amount of fun I’ve had just from the P’KUP while playing board games. Thanks again to @getpkup for letting me try these out! Games featured: Flip 7 from The Op Games Skull King from Grandpa Beck Games Jaipur from Game Works Flamecraft from Cardboard Alchemy Viscounts of the West Kingdom from Garphill Games Move clip from Disney Pixar’s Cars #boardgames #boardgame #pkup #boardgamereels

While fishing, a man caught a strange-looking fish with tentacle-like structures. It was a lamprey, an ancient species from the dinosaur era. Its key feature is seven gill openings on each side of its body and a suction cup-like mouth that works like a hydraulic system to latch onto prey. Lacking jaws, its mouth is filled with sharp teeth, making it nearly impossible for victims to escape until it drains their blood and flesh.Known as "sea vampires," lampreys can cling firmly to hands or even rough rock surfaces, even when taken out of the water.
