✨ The first time he smashed a glass out of anger… The first time he slammed the door so hard the whole room shook… The first time he punched the wall or threw something across the room… And you thought to yourself, “At least he didn’t do it to me.” But the painful truth is… Those moments were never “harmless.” They were warnings. Signals you didn’t realize you were receiving. Because these behaviors follow a pattern… And sooner or later, the main target becomes YOU. One day that fist lands on your face. One day you get hurt. One day something is thrown toward you. 🌧️ Before it’s too late… Before real damage happens… Pay attention to the signs. These are not “just outbursts.” These are boundaries being broken. You deserve safety. You deserve respect. You deserve peace. ❤️ See the signs. Choose yourself. I didn’t survive this to stay quiet. I survived it to end the cycle. This is my truth. For the versions of me who didn’t get a voice. For anyone who thought they were the problem. 🖤🖤
Society idolizes them. Power, money, influence. But behind closed doors, that need for dominance doesn’t turn off. The same ruthless tactics used in the boardroom are often used in the bedroom and the living room. No one says that living with a billionaire can result in a $12 million debt, beatings, and even surveillance in your own home. 20 years ago my life changed. I was kidnapped in broad daylight and held by a serial killer until I was able to escape. If you’re new here, welcome. My name is Kara. In the last 20 years I have gone on to work in law enforcement, become an advocate and keynote speaker, start a family and executive produce an award winning documentary about my story. I am currently working on a book, movie, podcast and investigating my captor for other crimes. In the next few weeks I’ll be sharing my story as the 20 year anniversary approaches. Thanks for being here. Welcome to my authentic space. Looking forward to sharing with y’all and answering your questions about my experiences. #truecrime #truecrimecommunity #truecrimeaddict #truecrimejunkie #truecrimestories #truecrimesurvivor #survivor #survivorstories #isurvived #healing #healingjourney #mystory #empowersurvivors #support #ethicalcontent #truecrimestories
and the ugliest truth is so many of them walk right past us without us even knowing 💔 there are some scenes that don’t just make you cry, they make you ache. hearing a man casually confess what he did, without a flicker of remorse, feels like someone scraping at a wound that women across the world are forced to carry in silence. it’s not just about one nirbhaya, it’s about every girl who has ever been blamed for what was done to her, every survivor who had to prove her own pain while her rapist walked like nothing happened. delhi crime doesn’t let you look away or sugarcoat the horror, it forces you to sit with the reality of how normalised this violence has become. in those trembling voices and broken eyes, you can feel a million untold stories, a million nights that never made the news. this isn’t just a series, it’s a reminder that until women feel safe simply existing, the fight is nowhere close to over. series name: delhi crime (2019–2025) cast: shefali shah, rasika dugal, rajesh tailang, adil hussain, yashaswini dayama director: richie mehta streaming platform: netflix imdb rating: 8.5/10 rottan tomatoes rating: 94% all rights to the clips used remain with their respective owners. no copyright infringement is intended. i do not own this video; it is shared solely under fair use and for entertainment purposes only. hashtags: #delhicrime #delhicrimeseries #shefalishah #nirbhyacase #stoprapenow #justiceforwomen #violenceagainstwomen #protectourgirls #womenarenotsafe #truecrimeindia #indianwebseries #netflixindia #hindiseries #basedontrueevents #neverforget2012 #survivorstories #listentowomen #endrapeculture #heartwrenching #intensescene #emotionalscene #rawreality #brutaltruth #mustwatchseries #delhicrimeedit #webseriesedit #netflixshow #truestory #realitycheck #stopviolence [delhicrime, delhicrimeseries, shefalishah, niryabhacase, truecrimeindia, indianwebseries, netflixindia, hindiseries, crimeanthology, justiceforwomen, violenceagainstwomen, neverforget2012, basedontrueevents, heartwrenching, emotionalscene, intensescene, powerfulperformance, rawreality, indiantelevision, mustwatchseries, indiaremembers]
Couldn’t remove the helium voice.. the caption remains the same.. From being socially anxious since forever, I finally am here, to tell the story. This is because of you— for those thousands of messages, pouring your heart out—reassuring me that this was necessary… I am grateful to you for sharing your lives with me… for telling me Instagram was ready to hear real stories. I would focus this on the healing part but I have tried to just give a very brief background. I don’t really expect people to sit through this video and listen to all of it. I didn’t start this page to go viral. In fact, when the previous video went viral, I couldn’t eat or sleep for 3-4 days, in a strange discomfort and shame. But I started to read through your message and real, this was much bigger than me. This needed raw unfiltered discussion… while I can’t share your stories, I can tell you what happened, how I felt at each stage, and how, none of this was about you! Every child in that situation goes through the same shame guilt anger frustration, makes the same mistakes… If you have seen the entire video, and you are a survivor, I know how much you resonate with me. I will post subsequent videos irrespective on of the reach this gets, just so you know how messy it becomes.. and no, it is not a favour or social service. I can’t leave this world knowing, all my experiences did not culminate into someone positive… If you are a parent watching this, I have never asked anyone to follow me but I urge that you do. If you have little children, please stay here. I will talk about how to prevent this, what are the signs, what sets your child up for it, be it in the hands of a family member or a teacher or a neighbor. #breakthesilence #childsexualabuse #narcissisticfamilies #indianfamilydrama #breakingthecycle #childhoodabuse #survivorstories #sexualabusesurvivor #motherwound #theinvisiblechild #estrangedadultchildren

Step 9: Pack your clothes If you’re preparing to leave an abusive partner, your go-bag doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to exist! You can start with what’s easy to gather: clothing. A few tips: - Pick items they won’t notice missing - Use a believable cover (cleaning, organizing, “decluttering”) - Hide things in places they never go - Build it slowly if you need to (one item at a time is STILL progress.) Over a long weekend, I told my ex I was “decluttering my closet.” I made two piles: - one to donate - one to “throw away” Except the “trash” pile was actually my starter go-bag. I walked to the garage, set the donation pile aside, and instead of throwing the “trash” bag away, I turned around and tossed it down the basement stairs. A few minutes later I casually said, “I’m going to clean the litter box.” In the basement, heart pounding, I hid the clothes behind the deep shelves in my office. It was the first real step toward packing a go-bag. And I felt proud, anxious, sad all at once. But also certain: I was doing it. I was moving. I was getting ready. And with his work trip coming up, I knew I’d be able to take the next steps too. Follow @HealingByTheNumbers for Escape Plan, where I share step-by-step what it took to leave my abusive marriage. This experience and others changed me so profoundly I had to write about it - ‘Made of Fire’, is a memoir of raw survival. Despite these systemic attempts to silence me as a victim two Iranian men were convicted and sentenced to ten years in jail while a third escaped. Their names are in the public domain as convicted grapists: Ameen Quoz Najati and Younges Jaan Ali Jabri Quarashi.
