Hi guys! Today I’m sharing with you some random moments captured during my work on the Green Dragon. It’s a conversion of Stormcast Krondys/Karazai Dragon with many Sylvaneth bits, especially Treelord’s parts ☺️ I also made a custom base with milliput and some other materials that mother nature gave me 😄. I wanted to create something in Wood Elves vibe in an old fashioned way and I truly enjoyed it. This piece took me back in time to the days when there was no 3D printers just a pile of Games Workshop plastic and your imagination 😄. Do you remember your first converted minis? Repost @kalliduz Alarielle, the Everqueen. A majestic miniature, one that commands attention all by itself and deserves a paint job to match. Hours of work went into bringing out every detail and making her the true centrepiece. Alarielle is no ordinary queen: she is the Sylvaneth goddess of life, an ancient figure who embodies both hope and rebirth, as well as the fury of one who seeks nothing but revenge. We wanted to capture all of this in a piece worthy of her legend, created for a collector looking for something truly unique and finished down to the very last detail. To complete the project, we designed the custom base entirely from scratch in 3D, allowing her to be fielded in TOW games by transitioning from a massive 150 mm circular base to a much smaller rectangular one. A tree embraces the ruins of an ancient Shrine Luminor, its fragments suspended among the branches while Alarielle and her Wardroth Beetle rise above them. This wasn’t simply about adapting a base, but about creating a scene that would frame the miniature and enhance its presence without taking the spotlight away from it. This has been our first project of this scale, and precisely for that reason, it means so much to us. Alarielle the Everqueen is one of those models that really does all the work for you in the best way. Huge presence, loads of movement, beautiful shapes all over the piece, and so many different materials to play with, skin, cloth, wings, bark, armor, the whole strange living throne underneath her. Definitely one of those projects where every part needed its own little moment, but still had to come together as one thing. What I really like here is that it still feels elegant and almost calm, even though the whole model is massive and pretty wild once you actually start looking at all the details. Very fantasy, very dramatic, but still with that softer, more magical feel that makes Alarielle stand out so much. A piece like this is always a good reminder that not every project has to be dark and brutal to have impact. Sometimes it is just about color, composition, and making a model feel properly alive.
