What happens when a tea expert and three food nerds plan dinner? Apparently, a six-hour tea-pairing feast. We met Cheryl @teathegathering at her tea workshop, hit it off, and knew her had to invite her and Elijah over. Somehow, one dinner turned into all four of us co-creating dishes, brewing teas, experimenting with pairings, and geeking out over food from 5.30pm till midnight. The kind of night that reminds you how fun it is to meet people who get equally excited about food & life.

Workshop de Chá no @museudooriente 🫖🌿 Este fim de semana estivemos em Lisboa para participar num workshop de chá no @museudooriente. O edifico é lindíssimo e no workshop aprendemos os diversos tipos e classificações de chá, as origens, formas de produção, regras de etiqueta e como servir um bom chá ☕️ Trouxemos várias amostras connosco para testarmos em casa e degustamos um chá preto “pérolas”. No fim, ainda tivemos direito a um bilhete de oferta para visitarmos o Museu do Oriente, quando regressarmos com mais tempo. Foi uma excelente oportunidade para alargarmos o nosso conhecimento sobre chás! 🇬🇧 Tea workshop at @museudooriente 🫖🌿 This weekend we were in Lisbon, learning more about tea at @museudooriente. Ink & Tea Mornings Workshop [Media] Here’s a calm and creative way to spend a morning in Vancouver. I recently attended an Ink and Tea workshop with Teresa Kung of Calligraphy Zen @calligraphyzen.teresa @thecalligraphyzen @shufa.foundation and the team at Van Cha. The session brought together Chinese calligraphy, also known as shufa 書法, and artisan tea in such a thoughtful way. We learned a bit about the history of calligraphy, practised foundational brushstrokes, and sipped Van Cha’s @vancha_tea teas as the morning unfolded. No experience is needed. Teresa is a PhD-trained shufa expert, and she made the process feel calm, approachable, and meaningful. We finished with a bookmark keepsake to take home. I recommend this workshop if you’re looking for a slower, more creative experience, and be sure to check out their upcoming dates. 📍 433 Hornby St, Vancouver 🗓 Select Thursdays (May 21, June 4, June 18, etc.) ⏱ 10 AM – 12 PM 🎟 $70 CAD per person
