Officially described as a ravenous glutton. It roasts berries with fire from its own nostrils before eating them. Sometimes it gets so excited it burns them to a crisp. But it eats them anyway. Because Tepig doesn't care about perfect. It cares about every single bite. And then someone decided that wasn't enough. In the anime, Ash found Tepig tied to a post. Rope around its mouth so it couldn't eat. Covered in soot. Starving. Its trainer Shamus abandoned it after one loss and called it too weak to keep. And the worst part? When Shamus left, he pretended to cry so Tepig wouldn't follow him. He faked the goodbye. Let Tepig believe it was loved just long enough to walk away. So Tepig spent weeks searching for a trainer who never wanted it back. Stealing scraps just to survive. A Pokemon born to feast, reduced to begging. And when Ash finally untied that rope and fed it, Tepig didn't run. It stayed. Not because it was strong. But because someone finally let it be exactly what it was.
