TRASHKETBALL!! 🏀🗑️ A little review game with a twist, we reviewed adjectives, verbs and nouns by writing down as many as we could on little sheets of paper, and then standing at the end of the carpet and trying to make it in the correct basket. SLAM DUNK! Trashketball is a fun game that teachers use with classes of all ages and all subjects! There are many different versions out there, and here’s the one I use: 1* Set up a shooting zone with a hoop (trash can) and two lines. 2* Divide the class into teams. 3* Rotate through the teams, asking each team a question when it’s their turn. 4* If the team gets it right, they get 1 point AND can shoot to earn bonus points (1 or 3 more points, depending on the shooting line they choose). Other teachers give students the chance to shoot when they MISS a question. There are tons of other variations, and I’ve linked a bunch on my blog! {link in bio @comprehensibleclassroom} There’s no wrong way to play, and you’ll be glad you gave it a whirl!
