Here’s what I’d avoid / what I noticed / Tips:
⛲️ Trevi Fountain - will ALWAYS be packed. No matter time of day or night - it’s just a no for me. I didn’t get up at 5am-6am however, I hear there’s still lines and tripods so…
🏛️ Colosseum - honestly the LONGEST lines are for GUIDED TOURS so you’re better off getting there at 8:30am- 9:00am and waiting 10-15 min for a same day ticket. Be prepared for mass crowds and no elbow room when you’re packed inside touring it as well…
📸 Photo spots - tbh some accounts I follow have such great tips for photo spots we clearly MISSED OUT on so I might just add them to my highlight. Y’all did Rome right, but it’s just too damn hot out there to take good photos for me.
🚉 Trains to Lake Como - yeah good luck if you’re taking one to Varenna…be prepared to cross train tracks with hundreds of people and wait in LONG LINES for the most beautiful, Instagrammable locations. Gotta visit at least once tho.
🌊 Cinque Terre - if you plan to see all 5 locations by ferry, you better plan again - it’s HELLA HOT 🥵 so spend 3-4 days here to enjoy each town. Beach day in Monterosso for sure and Riomaggiore is the prettiest 😘
That’s all my real tips for now on Italy 🇮🇹 ~ I’ll break down some of these places in more detail since sometimes the reality is you have to make the most of enjoying the travel part while you’re traveling 🧳 🤳🏽

Lago di Como um dos lugares mais lindos que conheci.
Saímos da estação Central de Milão e compramos uma passagem para a Varena por cerca de 10 euros o trecho por pessoa.
Chegando em Varena você pode realizar travessias para a cidade de Bellagio por 4,50 euros o trecho, outra opção é pegar o trem até a cidade de Como por cerca de 5 euros o trecho, porém fica mais distante ir de Ferry Boat até Varena e Bellagio, no entanto fizemos em 2 dias o passeio, ideal seria hospedar-se em uma dessas cidades para conhecer muitas outras ao redor.

Esse não é o passeio mais famoso do Lago di Como, mas com certeza é um dos mais deslumbrantes!
Imagina passear pelos jardins de um castelo no alto da colina, e de sua torre observar a vista mais bonita do terceiro maior lago da Itália... Incrível, né?
O Castello di Vezio está a cerca de 3km de Varenna. Para chegar você precisará subir as colinas de carro, ou pedir um taxi (já assumi que caminhar subida acima por cerca de 35 minutos não é uma opção 😅).
Se estiver de carro, poderá parar o carro no estacionamento da rua e caminhar por cerca de 2 minutos até chegar na porta do castelo.
O caminho por si só já é encantador, parece que você está em uma vilinha medieval.
O valor do ingresso custa 5 euros por pessoa, e você poderá apreciar a vista e explorar o castelo por quanto tempo quiser.
O local possui também um café, onde é possível tomar drinks e pedir tábua de charcutaria.
Ah, lá também tem um parquinho com alguns brinquedos para as crianças.
