Best pastries in Hong Kong?! Uhmmm yesss 📍@vissionbakery I was super impressed by this danish for two reasons - the puff pastry and the matcha filling. P A S T R Y So turns out, the danish is a brioche feuilletée which has less butter than in a croissant dough and eggs are used as the liquid. M A T C H A I also learned that the centre had layers: matcha financier, molten matcha sauce, and half baked matcha cheesecake. The matcha was intense and earthy. I appreciated that they kept it light on the sweetness. The mochi was a bit thick for me and I wish it stretched but texture was good! They only accept credit card and make sure to go earlier in the day to avoid disappointment.
