We explored the Vredehoek Quarry, which is an old, abandoned Tin Mine on the lower slopes of Devil’s Peak. You can access it from Chelmsford Road, in Vredehoek. It was originally started in 1911, and tin was obtained from a shaft 180 feet deep, connected to an adit.
