Wal bass time. I’m always struck by the incredible mid range punch thanks to the incredible onboard preamp on the Wal basses. Here’s an idea I just came up with. The line starts ( with the double stop slide) on beat three..👊 Played on my ‘86 Wal Custom.. #walbass #bassguitar #bass @walbasscollective @walbasses

I love the way Justin Chancellor’s bass drives this song. The band revolves and evolves around his bass throughout the song. Add on top of that Maynard’s powerful lyrics and we get this masterpiece. Yes, I just got my hands on this beautiful MK2 bass and I had to play this song (as the 24 fret is a must to be able to play it) 🤘🏻⚡️🤘🏻 #toolband #toolarmy #walbass #walmk2 #toolcover #toolmusic #justinchancellor #bassplayer #bassguitar #bassist #metalbass #metalbassist #basscover #bajistaslatinos #bajistamexicano #bassistsofinstagram #basslove #bassporn #bassgear #bassline #instabass #bassguitarrist #bassguitarplayer #talkingbass #kellogonzalez #kingsofgroovemx #line6helix #aguilaramp #drstrings

Congrats @goddess.sylvanas sounds excellent 🤘 #WALbass #walbasscolective Repost from @goddess.sylvanas • Shipped all the way from Denmark and spent a week and a half in customs, but WOW is it worth it. Watching this back I see I went a bit heavy with the psychotic laughter and “oh my gods” but I literally couldn’t contain myself haha I can’t describe how CLEAN the sound is on this thing. I’ve got just a bit of compression and chorus on it, but I promise this bass sounds glorious just straight through an amp. The flatwounds are also surprisingly bright, so I think I’ll be sticking with them. Anyway, drop your (preferably mick karn related) fretless requests for me! Songs played in vid are sons of pioneers by Japan, Dalis car by Dalis car, music for chameleons by Gary numan. Still figuring the dynamics on that last one out, but had to give it a try on this bass!
