We Stan Chaol here! . Chaol is one of the best written characters. You cannot change my mind. He is the only human. He is flawed. He makes mistakes and is too stubborn to acknowledge them but when he finally does he redeems himself. He was born and raised to think one thing and is loyal to a fault. You see him struggle with opening his mind, opening his heart, he is the embodiment of flawed humankind. I will always love Chaol, and Yrene was definitely the best thing for him. You see other characters in this series struggle with childhood traumas, power they never expected to have, responsibility of an entire kingdom…but Chaol struggled with just being human, like we all do on a daily basis but he’s also trying to find where he fits in a world of magic.
