This is my STORY✨So many of you have joined me here recently so I believe a re-introduction is in order👇I'm Tejal, your go-to person for all things marketing and making money online. 1. Academically? I am a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 2 in-hand campus placements!2. Headed a team of 300+ people while working in one of the most valuable companies in the world.3. Quit my high-paying job to become an online marketer!4. Said NO to an MBA offer from one of the top IIMs in India - twice! Because, deep down I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur & ready to take the road less taken… Little did I know just how bumpy that road would be 🙃5. Started out as a freelancer, made no money the first 6 months into it, then made my first 10,000 INR in the 7th month, then 30,000 INR, then 65,000 INR, then 1,15,000 INR, then 5,00,000 INR & have never looked back ever since!6. Scaled to become a 6 figure USD Marketing Agency, serving clients across the globe.7. Along the way, I discovered my true calling lay in coaching & consulting which led me to pivot my entire business 2 years ago.8. Launched my epic signature program, Freelance Growth Accelerator last year & have 125 supercool freelancers acing it inside.9. My mission is to empower individuals and help them achieve financial freedom by building a sustainable career for themselves!10. In the last 5 years, I have helped 4100+ business owners & freelancers and seeing their success stories unfold every day, inspires me like nothing else!11. Hobbies or Past time? Reading, Netflix, also upskilling - learning & honing my skillset is my favourite.12. My go-to comfort food is Rajma Chawal at home & Quesadillas outside 🙃13. My favourite book of all time is THE SECRET by @rhondabyrne_thesecret cos it changed my entire outlook.14. I love ghar ki chai & coffee outside.15. After helping 6000+ women build and sell digital products, certain patterns show up every time a product does not sell:Here are the 5 signs I usually notice:1. They built what they wanted to make - not what someone actually wanted to buyThey spent weeks on a topic they love - without once asking their audience if it was a problem they were desperate to solve. Passion without validation is just a hobby.2. They are still perfecting the product instead of talking about itThe product has been “almost ready” for two months. Meanwhile, nobody knows it exists. You cannot sell a secret. Visibility has to start before launch - not after.3. They priced it low to “make it easier to sell”Underpricing does not increase conversions - it signals low confidence and low value. Buyers do not think “what a deal.” They think “what is wrong with it.” Price for the transformation.4. They have no warm audience - and no plan to build one before launchThey are planning to launch to strangers on day one. But cold audiences do not buy from people they have just met. Your first sales come from trust, not traffic.5. They are selling features, not transformation“10 modules, 5 worksheets, 3 bonus guides.” Nobody buys modules. They buy the result those modules promise. If your caption describes what is inside instead of what changes - rewrite it.The biggest lesson?A flopping product is almost never about the product. It is about the thinking that went into building, pricing, and selling it.Failure leaves clues early. I know it feels hard right now.So here are a few things that actually helped me build a full-time income online:Secret 1: I stopped trying to look credible and started being honestFor the first year, I kept trying to present a polished version of myself. Professional. Certain. Put-together. Nobody bought from me. The moment I started talking about what I did not know, what I was figuring out in real time - that is when people started trusting me. Honesty, it turns out, is the most underrated marketing strategy.Secret 2: Turning down two IIMs was the best business decision I ever madeI know that sounds illogical. But when I said no to that path, I was forced to bet on myself with nothing to fall back on. That pressure became my fuel. I had no big name to hide behind - only my results. Looking back, the discomfort of that decision built a kind of self-belief that no degree could have given me.Secret 3: I built income before I built an audienceEveryone told me to grow my following first. I ignored that advice. I found ten people who had the exact problem I could solve and I served them so well that they told ten more. My first real income did not come from a viral post. It came from a very small, very specific group of people who felt deeply understood.And here is the part nobody talks about:There was a long stretch - almost 2 years - where nothing looked like it was working from the outside.No big numbers. No visible proof. Just me, showing up, learning, building. That invisible phase is not failure. It is THE FOUNDATION. Every woman I know who has built real income online has a version of that quiet, unglamorous middle chapter.If you are in that phase where you are doing everything right but nothing is clicking yet - just know that it is part of the process. I started a secret Instagram account 5 years ago…I didn’t tell anyone I knew - not even my mom - because I was that nervous 😅I was new with digital products.With barely 400 followers (fam & friends),Just a deep feeling that I was made for more than endless client work, waiting for the next salary, and living for weekends.I had this quiet hope that just maybe… this could be the thing that gave my family freedom and choices we didn’t have before.Fast forward to now:💻 I run a full time digital business that supports my lifestyle and gives me flexibility I didn’t have before💰 We travel without worrying about anything 🫶🏼 I’m working from my laptop on my own termsIt started with showing up quietly… but consistently.From my device in my hand.
