Here’s the exact 5 steps to take 👇For 5 years I taught Muay Thai privates and classes.I was good at it. My students got results. I was doing what I loved. But I was also completely stuck.Every dollar I made required me to physically show up. Cancel a session, lose the money. Get injured, lose the money. Want to take a week off, lose the money. No freedom. No autonomy. No ceiling I could see past. The worst part? I was fully booked. That was supposed to be the goal. And it still wasn’t enough. My best year teaching in person was around $30K.In a recent week one of my online programs generated $16,817. I worked 15 hours. The rest of my time went to my family, training, and building new things. Here’s what actually changed. The model. Not my knowledge. Not my skills. Not my following. The model. Here’s what I did differently:✅ Stopped selling my time by the hour✅ Built an online program around what I already knew✅ Grew an email list (not sexy, but it’s the foundation of everything)✅ Created automated systems that sell while I sleep✅ Stacked memberships and subscriptions underneath for consistent monthly income✅ Used launches on top of that base to create spikes like last weekI never quit the in-person side to do it. I built the online layer on top, then chose how much in-person work I wanted to keep.On June 23 I’m running a free live workshop and breaking down exactly where I’d start if I was building this from scratch today. Not the 12-year version. The first moves, in order. The first offer to build. How to price it. How to land your first online clients from people who already know you. Live Q&A at the end, and I’m opening something up live that’s not going in the replay. If you coach martial arts or fitness and you’re still trading hours for dollars, this is the room to be in.Comment WORKSHOP and I’ll send you the link to save your seat 👊 by @themuaythaiguy

Rhysie! My sweet one-year-old. 🥹 You came in and turned everything right side up in our lives.Thank you for making me softer and stronger at the same time. I didn’t know that was possible until you. 💕Happy first birthday, baby boy. One book sent my whole life sideways 👇I picked up "The Fighter's Heart" by Sam Sheridan thinking it was just another fight book. By the last page I knew I had to go train Muay Thai in Thailand. Then in the span of about 7 days...💔 My girlfriend ended things🤬 I lost my job training clients🏠 My apartment lease ran out💰 I won 15 grand in an online poker tournament out of nowhereThe universe was being pretty obvious about it.So I said screw it and booked a one way flight to Thailand to go live my own version of the book. That trip changed everything. I came back knowing I wanted to fight Muay Thai, figure out who I actually was, and find a way to build a life around it.That's when @themuaythaiguy started 🥊Big thanks to @jaredquackenbush for filming this at my seminar at @offthegridbjj 🙏What's a book that genuinely changed how you see things? Drop it below so somebody else might find their version of it 📚#muaythai #muaythailife #muaythailifestyle #muaythaitraining #muaythaiguy #fightersheart by @themuaythaiguy

Now hear me out...It's never too late to start Muay Thai.If your goal is to go pro and make a career out of it, you've likely gotta to start by your early 20s. That's just the reality. But if you want to compete here and there, get in fight shape, and pick up a skill that could save your life? Age has nothing to do with it.Comment FBA and I'll send you a free beginner-friendly at-home Muay Thai workout to get you moving 🥊 by @themuaythaiguy

7 things you realize after you've been training for awhile... 1️⃣ The sessions you almost skipped end up being the ones that move the needle.2️⃣ Nobody at the gym is paying attention to you. They're too in their own heads.3️⃣ The guys who make it look easy aren't more talented. They just didn't quit when it got boring.4️⃣ Real confidence is quiet. It builds slow, one honest round at a time.5️⃣ Recovery isn't a break from training. It's part of the training.6️⃣ The better you get, the more you realize how much you still suck.7️⃣ You're never going to feel ready. You just lace up and go.Comment BAG and I'll send you the free heavy bag workout I use to keep my sessions focused instead of random 👊 by @themuaythaiguy

When my Thai trainer told me this, it changed how I kneed forever 😂 There's power in them hips... Everyone obsesses over driving the knee. The real magic is everything happening behind it. The turn, the timing, the intent. No hesitation. No stiffness. Just full commitment."Knee like you fuck". And hopefully you can do that well #muaythai #muaythaitraining #nakmuaynation #muaythaitechnique #muaythaifighter #fightmindset #fighterlife #muaythailife😉 by @themuaythaiguy

Please STOP hitting the bag like this 👇3 rounds. No plan. Just throwing.By round 2 you're already arm punching. By round 3 you're just trying to look busy until the timer beeps.Sound familiar? This is what 90% of guys do on the bag. It's not laziness. Nobody ever taught them what a good bag round actually looks like. Here's the shift.Every round needs a focus. One combo. One movement pattern. One concept you're drilling. That's it.3 minutes is long enough to actually burn something in if you stop trying to do everything at once.Bag work isn't cardio with gloves on. It's where technique gets sharpened or sloppy. You pick which one every session.Comment BAG for the free heavy bag workout I use to keep my rounds focused 👊#muaythai #muaythaitraining #heavybagworkout #heavybagtraining by @themuaythaiguy

Welcome to your home base for the NY Muay Thai retreat. 🥊Quick tour of the Airbnb where you’ll be staying, plus the spot in the backyard where the new outdoor Muay Thai gym is going in.This is a small, personal experience. Not a big camp with 40 strangers. Just real training and real life for a few days. Here’s what’s included:✅ Private Airbnb accommodation in the Hudson Valley✅ Real Muay Thai training with me, one on one✅ Built around where you’re at, not some generic class✅ Access to the new outdoor gym (bag, rack, sauna, cold plunge)✅ Local food spots and hikes✅ A few days to train hard, recover, and clear your headJuly 10-12 is the only dates left available. The other 4 dates have already been booked... this is the only one left!If you’ve been thinking about it, this is the one to grab.Comment NY if you’re interested in the last spot and want more info.I’ll be posting updates as the outdoor gym comes together, so keep an eye out. It’s going to be a special place to train. 🔨 by @themuaythaiguy

Nobody warns you about this... You spent months getting ready. Pad rounds, sparring, conditioning, the whole thing. Then the ref points at you. The crowd noise drops out. Your corner is yelling something you can't hear. Your legs feel like they belong to somebody else. That's the moment you find out who you actually are.Not the gym version. Not the highlight reel version. The version that shows up when fear gets a vote. Most guys think their first fight is about winning. It's not. It's about meeting yourself for the first time.Everything you do after that fight is built on what you learned in those 9 minutes. What was the moment in your first fight where you realized none of your training had prepared you for this? Drop it below.#muaythai #muaythaitraining #muaythaifighter #nakmuaynation #fightmindset #fighterlife #muaythailife by @themuaythaiguy

The answer to your Muay Thai questions 👇But first Save this one so you can come back to it.1️⃣ What should my training schedule look like?3 to 4 days of Muay Thai. 2 to 3 days of strength or conditioning. One real rest day. That's the baseline. As you progress, swap one of the conditioning days for HIIT to sharpen your gas tank.2️⃣ Should I lift weights? How often?Yes. 2 to 3 days a week. Focus on compound lifts and explosive movements. Squats, deadlifts, presses, pull-ups, plyos. You're not trying to look like a bodybuilder. You're building force you can put behind your shots.3️⃣ How do I condition my shins?Kick the bag. That's it. No rolling glass bottles. No kicking trees. Just consistent, progressive bag work over months and years. Your shins adapt to the work you put in.4️⃣ What gym should I train at in Thailand?Depends what you want.Phuket and Koh Samui: bigger gyms, English-speaking coaches, easier to land in as a first-timer. Beach lifestyle on top of training.Bangkok: traditional gyms in the heart of the sport. Closer to the stadium scene. Less tourist polish, more raw Muay Thai culture.Chiang Mai: smaller, quieter, more affordable. Great if you want to train hard without the party scene.Isaan (the northeast): where most Thai fighters actually come from. Old-school camps, full immersion, not built for tourists. For serious students who want the real thing. The wrong question is "what's the best gym." The right question is "what fits how I want to train."5️⃣ How do I stop flinching?Flinching is your brain protecting you. You don't fix it by trying harder. You fix it with reps under controlled pressure. Start with light technical sparring. Eyes open, react instead of pull away. Build speed over weeks, not minutes.Drill defense in isolation. Slips, parries, checks. The more your body knows what to do, the less your brain panics. It fades. But only with time on the mat.Drop a question I didn't cover below 👇 by @themuaythaiguy
