From Wolverhampton to Jamaica, the Adidja Palmer Foundation (APF), in partnership with White Yaadie and The Heritage Center, has successfully delivered a 40ft container of vital aid for those recovering from Hurricane Melissa!

Despite initial delays, our incredible on-the-ground team sprang into action. Within four days, the massive shipment was completely unpacked and transformed into targeted relief drops containing food, shelter items, hygiene products, baby essentials, and mobility aids.

These crucial care packages are already actively moving across the island to reach: Children & Elderly Homes,
Local Churches, Basic Schools,
Families heavily impacted by the storm in St. Elizabeth, St. Ann, Montego Bay, Kingston, Clarendon & Hanover.

A massive thank you to the generous people of Wolverhampton who filled the container, our logistics partners, and the tireless local volunteers who sorted and distributed the goods. 6 years.

I’ve worn multiple jerseys on this road. Each one carried lessons and challenges, and if all I learned was how to run faster, then I missed the point altogether.

At High Point, I learned who I was becoming, what I wanted from this opportunity, and what I was unwilling to compromise to achieve it. I met faithful friends, made mistakes, grew through them, and learned to trust my Heavenly Father more deeply. And took my first leap of faith knowing there was more.

At Tennessee, I experienced community, passion, and opportunities beyond what I thought possible. Hard work took on a whole new meaning, but so did gratitude. The friendships and memories from that chapter will stay with me for a lifetime. This becoming one of the most unforgettable chapters.

Then came Colorado… The homecoming chapter.

After setbacks, uncertainty, and plenty of lessons, I committed to seeing it through. Through the support of teammates, friends, coaches, and family, I found a freedom, presence, and joy in competing that I did not know was possible.

Thank you, Jesus!

Looking back, I remember the incredible overcoming but also the setbacks, prayers, mentorship, hard conversations, and seasons of rebuilding. Every part of this journey had purpose. Every chapter helped shape who I am today.

And through it all, the Lord has remained faithful, forgiving, restoring, protecting, and redeeming. He has opened incredible doors and closed necessary ones. Even when I made this pursuit an idol, He never left my side, patiently correcting my heart posture and reminding me that this ability to run is simply an outpouring of His grace. Through it all, He has revealed His character, His love, and His heart for His Gospel.

With many emotions, I write this knowing that every great story begins with a great Author. Looking back, I am amazed by the way He has written this chapter of my life and confident He will continue to do so.

While this has been a chapter of college running, it has allowed me to see the possibilities.

With overwhelming gratitude, I sit in awe of all He has done, knowing there is still much ink left on the pages yet to be written.
