The dehumanization of Jews and the normalization of Jew hate migrates off-campus and into the workplace. #Repost from @cornellians_only 🪬 • Cornell University has launched an investigation into an Industrial and Labor Relations student after an antisemitic message he sent on the career platform Handshake went viral online. The student, Austin Franco, rejected an interview offer by explicitly stating he was not interested in working for a Jewish employer. University administrators released a statement strongly condemning antisemitism and all forms of hatred. Officials confirmed they are actively reviewing the matter in accordance with university policy to maintain a safe and respectful community. Franco doubled down on his remarks on social media, claiming his “experiences with Jews have not been pleasant.” He also accused the employer of acting in bad faith and alleged that he has faced doxing since the post went viral.
