more info below 👇 I think he must have slipped on tile as a puppy because before seeing it at our friends house, he had never been on tile (since I’ve had him). But he never had problems with laminate, vinyl, or wood flooring until that day. I’ve also heard that the darkness of that flooring could have looked like the black abyss to him. after that day, he slowly started avoiding certain areas of the hardwood floors at my Boyfriend’s parents place… Eventually, he would only walk on carpets there. Everywhere we lived after that he would be fine with the floors until randomly he wasn’t. i’ve had his hips checked for injury, frequently shave the fur out of his paw pads, trim his nails, I’ve tried stickers for the bottom of his feet… I have toe grips, but they don’t stay on well for active dogs so they aren’t an effective solution for us… I had been working with him to overcome his fears and it was working, but it seemed like every time he fell asleep and woke up, he forgot that he wasn’t afraid of floors anymore. So, at this point, we have carpet paths everywhere and we bring the carpets with us everywhere, but I’m still determined to help him overcome this fear , slowly but surely, because I don’t want him to be confined to carpet his whole life…#Husky #Huskies #DogVideos #FunnyDogs #HuskyVideos by @levithehuskyrescue

We made the mistake of allowing our dogs and babies to coexist... DISCLAIMER BELOW 👇While this video is satire, I want to acknowledge that there is real danger in babies and dogs coexisting and they should ALWAYS be supervised together. Some rules we follow in our home:• Babies are never allowed to approach the dogs. If the dogs want to interact, they can choose to come to the babies. • Dogs and babies are never left unattended together, and we watch for signs of discomfort or stress, such as lip licking, stiffness, whale eye, avoidance, or attempts to create distance. • We teach our babies not to touch dogs while they’re sleeping, eating, or resting. • Our dogs always have access to safe spaces where they can retreat away from the babies. • We never place or prop the babies on the dogs for photos or videos. If the dogs voluntarily come and lay beside them, that’s ok with us. Even the best dogs can become uncomfortable, startled, or overwhelmed, and it’s our job to advocate for both our children and our dogs 🤍#dogs #babies #dogvideos by @levithehuskyrescue
