57 and I went to my very first Primavera Festival in Barcelona.

Can you believe it? At 57.

The funny thing is, I spent years avoiding crowds. And when my children were little, my free time was filled with completely different priorities. Festivals simply weren’t on my radar.
So standing there, surrounded by thousands of people, music, energy, and a sea of faces much younger than mine, felt strangely exciting. A little uncomfortable. A little liberating. And a powerful reminder that so many things we think are “not for us anymore” exist only in our minds.

One of the highlights was spending time with the wonderful Bonnie Strange. @bonniestrange Not only a DJ and creative force from Ibiza, but also one of those rare people who make you feel instantly at ease. I truly hope we’ll share many more festivals, gigs, and adventures this summer.
Because here’s what I’ve learned:
You don’t age out of experiences.
You age out of them only when you decide you do.

Life doesn’t stop offering invitations. Sometimes we just stop accepting them.

And maybe that’s the real beauty of getting older: caring less about whether you belong somewhere and simply showing up anyway.

Festival Survivor Tips at 57 🎡

1️⃣ Wear comfortable shoes. Your future self will thank you.

2️⃣ Earplugs are not boring. They’re genius.

3️⃣ Hydrate before you’re thirsty.

4️⃣ Don’t try to keep up with 25-year-olds. They don’t need to keep up with you either.

5️⃣ Go for the experience, not for the perfect photo.

Because at the end of the day, nobody remembers the outfit.
They remember how alive they felt. ❤️
