I keep getting asked what’s next as far as competitive martial arts and the answer is, nothing planned. In the first pic On the left is a medal I got from my first Smoker/Exhibition and on the right is from the most recent. I restarted my martial arts journey in 2016 with one goal in mind and that was to Learn in a place where I can only focus on the tasks at hand or I wouldn’t progress. To keep the rest of life outside while I was in the dojo. I needed to get away from what I didn’t know at the time was depression having me in a chokehold. I never had the biggest motivation to compete. I sometimes get that spark but honestly it always escapes me and to be honest I am a believer that if you want to do something like competitive fighting, you have to put everything into it and I am into too many things to dedicate myself in that way.Now, I have no doubt in my mind that so long as God gives me breath and the ability to move, I will train. My goal has now changed from just wanting to learn and escape to continuing to learn and helping build up others around me. That is why I am blessed and thankful to be training with the amazing @travel.train.teach where the philosophy is Travel The World, Train With the Best and Teach your community. I love the idea of building others up and that’s what I’m on in 2025 forward but as for competing, I’m not there. Though never say Never#martialarts #blessed #life #grateful

It’s simply because it COULD affect their lives in a fashion that does not benefit them if they were to. I know it’s obvious but still. They’ve deluded themselves into thinking it’s righteous. Either that or they just project that it’s what they believe. There are some evil human beings that believe that “good” is a matter of perspective and while I subscribe to that in some ways what I do not subscribe to is oxymoronic action. The incident occurred during a Frisco Independent School District track meet on April 2, 2025. ______________________________ According to investigators, the two teens, who attended different schools and did not know each other, got into an altercation at Kuykendall Stadium, which led to Anthony allegedly stabbing Metcalf. Metcalf later died at the hospital, and Anthony was subsequently arrested. ______________________________ In the courtroom, Karmelo Anthony broke down in tears after the guilty verdict was read. His parents then walked out of the courtroom.
