Catalyzing Jesus Movements to shift the tracks of history in the West
POSTS STORIES REELS
What if the answer isn't a better church, but a different kind of church? More growth. More programs. More giving. Many church leaders are working hard to help their churches thrive. But underneath all that activity is a bigger question: Is this really what Jesus had in mind? Built for More: Rewiring the Church as a Kingdom Movement by Gary Mayes and JD Ward invites us to rethink what the Church is for and recover the kingdom vision at the heart of Jesus' message. What do you think the Church needs most right now? 📖 Coming November 17, 2026. What if the future of the church isn't primarily about finding better methods, building better programs, or creating stronger institutions? What if it's about returning to something much simpler? Relational, embodied, reproducible communities of disciples who make disciples — the kind of communities we see modeled by Jesus. That's a different way of thinking about the future of the Church. And it raises an important question: If we were starting from scratch, what would we build differently? What would church look like if multiplication, relationships, and everyday discipleship were at the center? Let's hear your thoughts! by @100mcommunity
Here's something worth considering: Much of the conversation around Church Planting Movements and Disciple Making Movements has been shaped by North American voices. But what might we be missing? Indigenous leaders and catalysts around the world are developing theological and practical perspectives that challenge our assumptions about church, leadership, and mission. What if part of seeing movements flourish means learning to listen differently? How can leaders in the West become better listeners and learners when it comes to what God is doing in other parts of the world? We'd love to hear examples, experiences, and perspectives. by @100mcommunity
Much of our understanding of church has been shaped by institutions, denominations, buildings, and formal structures. But around the world, something different is happening. In many contexts, particularly among Muslim and Hindu communities, discipleship and church multiplication are taking place through relational networks and reproducing communities. These expressions of church don't always fit the categories we're used to. by @100mcommunity
For years, Church Planting Movements (CPM) and Disciple Making Movements (DMM) have often been discussed as ministry strategies or methods. But what if they're something more? What if these movements aren't simply a different way to do evangelism, but a different expression of what church can look like? Think decentralized communities, relational networks, and multiplying microchurches rather than traditional institutional structures. Here's a question worth wrestling with: Are we trying to make movements fit into our existing understanding of church, or are movements inviting us to rethink what church can be? We'd love to hear your thoughts! by @100mcommunity
Every movement needs more than one kind of voice. What happens when we build a team with people who think like us, lead like us, and see the world the same way we do? We might miss something important. The APEST framework reminds us that apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers each bring something valuable to the body of Christ. We need different perspectives and we need to learn how to work together. Think about your own church or team: Whose voice helps you see things differently? Maybe it's the person who always asks, “What if?” Or the one who notices who's being overlooked. Or the one who helps turn a big idea into something people can actually practice. Give them a shout-out in the comments (and tag them if they're on Facebook). Let's celebrate the people who help us see beyond our own perspective. 🙌 by @100mcommunity
You don't have to change everything to start something new. Sometimes movement begins with one small experiment. A conversation with someone you wouldn't normally talk to. A new way of helping people discover their gifts. An invitation to try something instead of waiting until you have the perfect plan. Small steps can help us discover what's possible in our own context. So here's a question: What's one small thing you've tried in your church, neighborhood, or ministry that made a difference? It doesn't have to be a big success story. We'd love to hear what you learned, even if the experiment didn't go as planned. Share it below. Someone else might need the idea. 👇 by @100mcommunity
What if we stopped asking, “How do we get more people to come to church?” and started asking a different question? What would it look like to help more people become disciples who make disciples, right where they live, work, and play? It’s a small shift in the question, but it can change how we think about church, leadership, and mission. We’re curious: What’s one question you think the Church needs to be asking more often right now? Drop it in the comments. We’d love to hear what you’re wrestling with. 👇 by @100mcommunity
Some of the most important work in a movement might barely be visible. Rob Kelly describes the role of the City Leaders Collective using a simple image: A trellis. A trellis doesn't grow the plant. It doesn't take the place of the plant. It simply creates the structure and support that allows the plant to grow. That's the idea behind City Leaders Collective: creating clarity, connection, and direction that can help the Church work together toward the good of a city—without trying to become the Church itself. It's a powerful picture of leadership. Sometimes our job isn't to build something that gets noticed. Sometimes our job is to build the structure that helps other people flourish. What if “missional” isn't something we do, but a way we live? It's easy for mission to become another thing on the calendar. Another program. Another initiative. Another thing we're trying to get people to participate in. But what happens when mission becomes part of the way we see our everyday lives? In All Change, Rich Robinson explores how kingdom transformation isn't just about changing organizations. It's also about cultivating a missional lifestyle, one where we begin to notice where God is already at work and join Him there. In this video, Rich shares more about what that can look like. 🎥 Watch Rich's video and let us know what you think! 📖 Get All Change: https://www.allchangejourney.com/buynow by @100mcommunity
What if churches stopped competing for impact—and started creating it together? It's easy to measure what our church is doing. Our programs. Our people. Our reach. Our impact. But cities don't experience the Church in neat organizational boxes. They experience the Church as a presence in the city. And some challenges are simply too big for one congregation to tackle alone. With City Leaders Collective in Charlotte, churches are working together around things like foster care, education, and community development—bringing different strengths, relationships, and resources to a shared mission. It's a different way of thinking about impact. Not “How can we do more?” But: “What could we accomplish together that we couldn't accomplish alone?” Learn more here: https://cityleaderscollective.org/ by @100mcommunity
What if you didn't have to have the whole thing figured out before you started? One of the biggest challenges in leading change is knowing when to stop talking about an idea and start testing it. That's where proof of concept comes in. Instead of trying to redesign everything at once, what if we created small experiments that help us discover what actually works in our context? That's one of the ideas Rich Robinson explores in All Change, moving from imagination to experimentation and learning along the way. In this video, Rich talks about proof of concept and what it can look like when we're willing to test, learn, adapt, and try again. You don't need a perfect plan. You need a place to begin. 😉 📖 Explore All Change: https://www.allchangejourney.com/buynow by @100mcommunity
