Day 13211. Let’s talk… #alternativeartist by @11koda11
with teeth but not to bite // available on bandcamp conceived from improvisational urges, sculpted and refined through compositional impulses, these sonic journeys unveil polychromatic landscapes to those who lend a curious ear. // 11koda11 – electric guitars, production @nishadguitar Nishad Pandey - bass, acoustic guitars, production @leontussie Leon Tussie - drums @artishard116 Hayden Miller - synth recorded via @_hochspannung_ Hochspannung Produktion at The Famous Gold Watch @thefamousgoldwatch and at koda.sonic @koda.sonic mix and master by koda.sonic and Nishad Pandey by @11koda11
SO /// I’ve been navigating a mosaic of beautiful and bitter realities of this life and as such kinda selectively active online; I am happy to share some snippets of a rare little show I played with @nishadguitar at @beetroot.kreuzberg opening for @selkiesound and in this rather dense post, shall semi-crypitically unfold some stuff. I’ve been unmasking a bunch of layers that I grew over the appx 12000 days before my formal diagnosis with ADHD and by popular opinion/ self proclamation/ prophecy - AuDHD. It’s been a journey. A lot of reclaiming, unlearning and standing through the turbulences. Fact is, i burnt out when i made Childlike Wonder in 2023 and I burnt out again when i made Push, Pull in 2025. And yet here i find myself cooking up another album. I suppose I’ve learnt some important lessons and gotten better at most things but the landscape is just as harsh and I do tend to get overstimulated. What’s going to happen this time? Triumph or more trauma? Hahaha There’s a lot going on in the world that affects me quite deeply and I console myself that a life of art and culture is yet an act of resistance. Ive always thought about the economics of authenticity and between my last 5 years in Berlin and access to the internet, I still somehow have faith that when anyone is true to their self, there shall be resonance. Thanks to all those who have made their mark on me thru your own resilience, silliness, audacity and generosity. Humour is now more my friend than horror was, but I invite them both in with some shade of profound dignity or nativity, and either way, it leads to art of some kind. Toxic positivity does seem to have its place in the medicine cabinet of someone without access to consistent therapy. Oh, and also among the wonders of my creative pursuits, I’ve contributed some additional production for a couple of tunes on @selkiesound ‘s debut EP!! Also had the responsibility to mix and master via @koda.sonic . It’s an album of songs I expect will have me crying should I ruminate ever so slightly. (Obv this has happened cuz I already heard it and did just that) If you got this far, you’ve won! Drop a fun GIF or Sticker to brag about your sup by @11koda11

big news from selkie world… my ep “inWaves” is coming out august 28 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊 and i’d like to celebrate this moment with you and you and you at a concert in glasgow, three days earlier on august 25. this collection of songs has been a long time coming and suddenly i am so so ready to share them with you. the title is a true illustration of the process behind this work and i’m proud to say that i stayed with it through all its strange tides and changing currents until it found its way here, as did @11koda11 who has been up for every possible challenge i’ve thrown his way. the first image is the artwork for the ep, photo taken by the bestbestbest @rec.wamhapi who nearly forfeited the functionality of her camera for the shot. ~~~ selkie: inWaves - debut ep launch tuesday 25 august @thegladcafe, glasgow tickets for the show in my bio. #ambientpop #glasgowmusic #glasgowconcerts #thegladcafe #eplaunch by @11koda11

Who needs therapy when you can listen to this music instead? Huge gratitude for my wonderful collaborators on this project, @kai_hoepfner for being so expressive, @bymeklit and @bejafilms for working the lenses. My alter ego @koda.sonic did a great job of sonic architecture and is finally eager to start working on new projects, so open for hire as a composer, producer and mixer! Specially keen to work more for film ;) Overall, glad to be here and hope you’re doing alright. Let’s talk! by @11koda11
