🚛 12VOLT LOCATE | BEYOND GPS TRACKING 📍

GPS tracking was just the beginning.

12Volt Locate is evolving into a connected vehicle management and fleet safety platform, bringing together vehicle tracking, dash cameras, and multi-camera recording under one ecosystem.

Here’s where we stand:

📍 GPS Tracking
Real-time vehicle locations, trip history, geofencing, and fleet visibility.

📹 Dash Camera Integration
Our initial proof of concept is complete, bringing vehicle video integration into the 12Volt Locate ecosystem.

🎥 Fleet MDVR Support
Multi-camera recording for commercial vehicles, providing coverage of the road ahead, rear, sides, and other critical areas.

🛡️ A Stronger Focus on Fleet Safety
Better visibility, access to recorded evidence, and greater awareness of what’s happening around fleet vehicles.

But there’s a bigger mission behind all of this.

We want to put control back into the hands of the 12-volt industry.

Shops shouldn’t have to juggle multiple manufacturers, applications, activation processes, and support channels just to serve their customers.

Our vision is a connected ecosystem where participating shops can sell, install, activate, and support tracking and video solutions while building lasting customer relationships.

🔧 In Development:
• Direct device activation and management through 12Volt App.
• Automated arrival notifications for mobile service vehicles.
• Continued expansion of connected vehicle and fleet safety capabilities.

Whether you’re an individual vehicle owner, a mobile service business, or a commercial fleet, we’re building toward one goal:

Know When. Know Where. Know More.

It starts at check-in.
The tags help connect the vehicle, the keys, and the job from start to finish.

The install may end, but the connection doesn’t.
Every tagged vehicle leaves with a direct link back to your shop.

One tap brings them back to you.
Simple, seamless, and always within reach.

More than a tag — it’s a marketing touch point.
A quiet reminder of who did the work.

You didn’t just tag the job.
You tagged the relationship. #12voltapp #caraudio #software #business #efficient by @12voltoutfitters

🚨 NEW FEATURE ALERT!
We just gave vehicle inspections a serious upgrade. Swipe 👉

One inspection form. For every vehicle. Forever. 😬
Yeah… we thought shops deserved a little more choice than that.

⚡ 8 inspection forms are now live in 12Volt App.
Car, truck, motorcycle, boat, RV, fleet, trailer and more — choose the inspection that actually fits the job.

Choose your inspection. Save your favorite as the default. Keep your shop moving. ⚡

More flexibility. More value. More 12Volt App.

🚗🔧 With fewer and fewer skilled automotive aftermarket installation technicians entering our industry, it’s up to all of us to help teach the next generation.

So I decided to try something different…

I’m creating a concept album that teaches automotive electronics through music. 🎶⚡

From Ohm’s Law and relay wiring to proper grounding and real-world installation concepts, each song is written to make the fundamentals easier to remember and a lot more fun to learn.

If even one new installer remembers how to wire a relay because of a song they heard, then it was worth making.

I’ve been passionate about the automotive aftermarket industry since 2004, and it’s that long-standing love for the craft that drives me to help inspire and educate the next generation of installers.
