This past Friday, @zilkerelem honored the vibrant life of Cile Steward with the installation of a beautifully hand-crafted bike rack made by artist @13_thirteen_studios .

Cile is wonderfully remembered as an avid bike rider that loved rolling up to school on her huge set of wheels.

This solid steel piece of functional art, commissioned by the Zilker community, is representative of the love, light and spirit that was Cile.

We love you, Cile Bug—may you inspire others to ride with glee. 💜 by @13_thirteen_studios

So after a long wait here it is finally complete. This bike rack was a memorial For Cile Steward one of the little girls that tragically lost her life in the July 4th flood that happened in Hunt, tx at Camp Mystic. Since September I have been in close contact with the family to use the funds they were gifted to build a memorial in their daughters honor to be displayed at Zilker park elementary school where she went before that tragic day . I got to spend the last four months getting to know their entire family and friend group to the point they are no longer friends they are my family . I have so much love for that amazing family and wish we didn’t have to meet under such terms but I will forever be thankful they walked into my life . We started this journey by having Will Cile’s dad come and help hammer out all the bars that make up this incredible piece . We sat in my shop for about 10 hours crying and watching videos of his daughter while hitting that metal as hard as the machine would allow to try and just get some anger out for what he had just gone threw . From then on the family visited several times a week and gave me complete freedom to honor their daughter the best way I saw fit so we got to work . I decided that no matter what I wanted people to hang around and to sit there with Cile as long as possible. So I asked the family if they had any childhood drawing Cile made growing up that they would share with me so I could hand engrave everyone of them into the bike rack to make it a scavenger hunt for her family and friends . So if you get the chance to see this in person look very closely because we hid about 40 drawings and messages along with her signature on the heart exactly the way she signed her name. This project completely changed my life and if my time on this earth was to end tonight I would be ok with it because I know I gave that project everything I had in my heart and soul . So please do me a favor and if you ever get the chance to help a complete stranger do it because you never know if that one good deed will change your entire outlook on life . So To the Steward Family I love yall with all my heart by @13_thirteen_studios

In loving Memory of Cile Steward ! We love you Cile and you will never be forgotten. I created this collage to show the process over the past 4 months and to give a special thanks to everyone who lended a hand to help create this beautiful piece of art . The bike rack is completely made from steel that was hammer textured and engraved by hand . Everything on this piece was hand crafted by hand with no computers or digital hep of any kind . The heart was formed by hand with a hammer and a few different anvils out of solid bronze that was formed welded and cut apart to be then welded back together after it was powder coated her favorite color . This video goes into detail every single engraving we did and where they are at go everyone won’t get the chance to see it in person . So please enjoy and say a prayer because I promise you Cile is listening and smiling down . Thank you to each and everyone of you @powderatx @rennenmetalworks @kelseyyduane @zilkerelem @briadams15 @juliabellambroseart st by @13_thirteen_studios

These teeth took for ever and I’m only halfway done . Time to start the bottom jaw . Still have no idea where I’m going with this but I like how it’s turning out . #blacksmith #bronzesculpture #skull #handmade by @13_thirteen_studios

When life gives you lemons ,use them to fuel your journey ahead . This day went to shit in a hand basket so I went back to the shop and started the next project in the line up . An armadillo made completely of copper Pennie’s . Whenever I’m mad , sad , angry or just lost I’m typically here being creative because I refuse to allow the world around me destroy the one thing thats kept me sober for the past 8 years . by @13_thirteen_studios

“Alpha & Omega” Is a life size realistic representation of a roadrunner that just caught dinner . The beginning and the end of life . Its body is made completely of bronze and all the feathers are copper . The base is hand carved out of Cherry with come patinaed copper grass to finish it off . Everything was made by hand with a hammer and chisel . Everything line you see on every feather is a single hammer blow . In total 200 hours went into making this come to life . It’s as close to a taxidermy mount I could get and if you stand by 10 feet you would swear it’s about to run off .

Please more sculptures like this because this being my first animal tells me things about to get fun . Love yall by @13_thirteen_studios

Finally after a hectic couple months the roadrunner is finally ready for its base! More pictures and videos to come, but I’m beyond proud of where this roadrunner went and how it came out. Made with completely of bronze with copper feathers. This is my first realistic animal and first attempt at a sculpture made completely with a hammer and chisel. Very minimal grinder usage. The only place you will find marks are in the eyes. It is proportionate to a life size adult roadrunner. Hope yall like him by @13_thirteen_studios

Finally finished up this lion sculpture, it’s off to our new booth at the The Old Mill Store in Wimberley, TX Stop by the store and see what I have available. Also open to do commission if you want something more personal by @13_thirteen_studios

❤️ The drop is live.

Today isn’t just another hunt.

This drop was generously donated in memory of the Texas families affected by the Fourth of July floods. It’s a reminder that even in the middle of a hobby we love, we can pause to remember, support one another, and honor those whose lives were changed.

To the person who made this possible—thank you for your generosity and your heart.

Now it’s time to let this gift find a new home.

Happy hunting, everyone. 🇨🇱🎁 #austin #pokemongiveaway #pokemon #pokemoncommunity #atx by @13_thirteen_studios

https://www.heavens27.org/. Morning drop
🇺🇸 Tomorrow’s drop is different.

This isn’t just our biggest community drop yet.

It’s a tribute.

A generous member of our community made this possible in honor of the Texas families affected by last year’s Fourth of July floods.

Tomorrow, we remember. We give back. And we come together through a hobby that brings people together.

Thank you to everyone who continues to make this community about more than cards.

❤️ Texas Strong. Happy hunting.

This is what 8 hours looks like these days at 13 Thirteen Studios. Just a man with a plan to go back to making things by hand. by @13_thirteen_studios

Little road runner update and life update . I’m no longer on any social media of any kind to be more present in my daily life . My niece will be posting for me when she has time . So if you need me personally come by the shop or give me a call . All message will be screened by @kelseyyduane and all messages will be sent to me if they need my attention. I love yall but I’m going back to time where social media or TVs didn’t exist so if you want to find me or see what I’m doing please show up cause that’s the only way you will find me . Please be good to yourselves and know you are loved beyond belief I just need to be as present as possible so I don’t regret it when the time comes . by @13_thirteen_studios
