Galentine’s Day - celebrating the women behind the weddings. ❤️

As a Chicago wedding planner, I’ve spent 24 years in the luxury wedding industry surrounded by some of the most talented, driven, and supportive women I know.

The ones who manage timelines, perfect wedding design details, coordinate vendors seamlessly, and lead full-service wedding planning with calm confidence.

The ones who show up early, stay late, and protect every couple’s peace on their wedding day.

After 24 years at One Fine Day Events, the greatest gift hasn’t just been planning beautiful Chicago weddings, it’s been building lasting friendships with women who lead with strength, creativity, and heart.

We celebrate love stories every weekend.
Today, we celebrate the women who make them happen.

To my team, thank you for your dedication, your leadership, and your friendship.

And to every woman building something meaningful alongside other women, this day is for you.💋

A week before my wedding in 2002, my photographer disappeared. No calls. No replies. And it was the week of Christmas so every vendor I called was closed. 💔

That nightmare is exactly why I started One Fine Day Events. In 2002, there were only five planners on The Knot and day-of coordination wasn’t a thing, so I built it, so no couple would ever go through what I did as a bride.

24 years later, our vetted vendor list is made up of the best of the best. These are partners who have shown up wedding after wedding. When you work with us, you never have to wonder who you can trust.

Okay, but these VELVET dresses?! 🧡

Emerald. Burgundy. Rust. I’m swooning! 😍This fall wedding color palette has my heart.

Amanda + Jeremy’s Cantigny Park wedding was proof that going bold with color is always a good idea!

I need to know… are you team emerald, burgundy, or rust?! 👇🏻

A little bit of everything from Audrey & Mike’s wedding day. 🤍

From their intimate City Hall elopement last year, to their maternity session this summer, and now their wedding day. Getting to photograph so many chapters of their lives together has been one of the sweetest parts of what I do.

From tender first looks and handwritten love letters, to speeches that had the entire room laughing, the most beautiful attention to detail, and of course, Mike kicking off the dancing. There was so much to love about this day.

And although baby Jack isn’t pictured here, trust me when I say he was the sweetest little guest. 🥹

Audrey & Mike, I absolutely adore you two. What a privilege it’s been to spend this past year with you and your loved ones. I couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate this next chapter together.
