TidalConduit is a live coding editor built around Supercollider and Tidal Cycles, extending them with custom audio, MIDI and visual engines. Everything is expressed in code, and any API or data source can be used to influence, or modulate, the sound. It’s a native macOS app built entirely in SwiftUI and Metal.

Throwback to working with ESP32s for my work Argus Disc, shown in @kote.kr gallery in Seoul

New short vid on my YT channel: Making drones in TidalCycles. I‘m starting to post more often, next time I‘ll make sure the font is bigger

Here I’m running noise through a resonator bank to create sustained chords.

I‘m using Tidalconduit, an editor I built around 2023 for myself

No AI involved

Making drones and textures in TidalCycles

You’re seeing TidalConduit, an editor I’ve been working on for ~4 years. Recently I’ve refactored the editor core to be codemirror (webview) based, which allows me to have strudel-like inline widgets, such as the granular playback scope you’re seeing here. I’m working on an open source version of this!

No AI involved. Camera feed powered by @corecam.app

Making of Argus Disc: Solar tracking algorithm that drives a procedural pupil. It’s written in C for the ESPs (prototype in the video is p5.js) by @25midi

My work ‚Argus Disc (2026)‘,installed at @kote.kr Gallery in Seoul as part of the group exhibition ‚Sweet Bread‘, which ran from 28 May to 12 June 2026.

Argus Disc is a generative installation of six microcontrollers, each rendering an eye that follows the position of the sun in real time, computed onboard from celestial mechanics. The pupils track the sun across the celestial sphere, above the horizon and below.

Argus is a many-eyed giant from Greek myth, the watcher who never closed all his eyes at once.

Introducing noclip camera for CoreCam.

noclip is a VHS-era camcorder emulation, with a real NTSC signal chain. That means you’ll get: line jitter, color drift, dot crawl, and tape noise.

It’s perfect for a wide range of moods, from liminal to nostalgic, and as always, included in your one-time purchase of the CoreCam app.

noclip out of the stock camera look, with CoreCam.

Now on the App Store

NEW: Edit mode!

I‘m so happy to finally bring you your no. 1 requested feature: You can now use CoreCam to edit any photo or video on your phone!

Edit mode uses the same camera modes and settings you already know. Pick a camera, adjust the bias slider, and dial in your preferred effects. On top of that, edit mode also includes standard adjustments like exposure, temperature, saturation, and more.

You can enter edit mode by tapping the SD card icon in the upper left of the viewport, or via the new Share Sheet action in the Photos app.

Happy editing!
