How We Became Fearless

✨27 runners. $110,000+ raised. Countless opportunities created.

Our 27 TCS New York City Marathon charity runners deserve a medal for the incredible impact they made! 🏅

Together, they raised over $110,000 to support 261 Fearless and our mission to empower women through running, education, and community.

Because at 261 Fearless, it's not about how far you run or how fast you reach the finish line. It's about how far your impact can go.

Every dollar raised helps create opportunities for more women to discover their strength, build confidence, find connection, and inspire others to do the same.

To our 27 runners: thank you for going the distance for something bigger than the race. We're so proud of you! 💜

Now that's a finish worth celebrating.

Sometimes, one story says it all.
At our 261 Effect Panel Brunch, we heard what can happen when women are given the opportunity, support, and confidence to discover what's possible.
This is what the 261 Effect looks like. And this is why the work matters.
Watch this moment from our conversation and tell us: what has running made possible in your life?
Running is just the beginning.

A Pacesetter helps others see what’s possible and empowers them to go further.

That spirit brought together founders, CEO’s and industry leaders at yesterday’s GivenGain Pacesetter gathering for a fireside chat with the iconic Kathrine Switzer.

Kathrine shared how her determination to run the Boston Marathon became a lifelong commitment to opening doors for women in Sport. Her story reminded us how far courage can reach when we use it to open doors for others.

In 1967, Kathrine became the first woman to run and finish the Boston Marathon with an official race number: Bib #261. When an official tried to force her off the course, she kept going. She finished the race and frankly never stopped, spending decades helping other women reach starting lines of their own. A commitment that continues through the amazing work of @261fearless.

Hearing Kathrine’s story in a room full of people who can help shape opportunities for others made the evening especially meaningful.

Thank you to @kathrineswitzer, @261fearless, and everyone who joined for an afternoon of purpose, perspective and industry connection.
