God is for you. God loves you. God reigns. Happy Sabbath 💫! by @39strokes
Which exile would not long for home? This is not the best God has for me—I am fully persuaded of that. I am on my way. I cannot see how much farther I must go, yet I press on, knowing there is no turning back. The path may grow narrower still; I am but a pilgrim here. Though others may mock and laugh me to scorn, I desire only His smile. I want to humbly and faithfully serve my Jesus, fixing my eyes each day on the light of His countenance. Let me love and not be respected. Let me serve and not be rewarded. Let me labor and not be remembered. Let me suffer and not be regarded. For it is the pouring, not the drinking; the breaking, not the keeping. May my life be spent for the blessing of others, that all my living and all my works may stand the test of fire when, at last, I arrive there. I am on my way to the City. by @39strokes
