🎚️ Estructura de ganancias: empieza bien antes de mezclar.

No necesitas perseguir números perfectos. El objetivo es crear una jerarquía: kick → bajo → clap → hats y percusiones dejando espacio para que cada elemento respire.

🎚️ Una buena mezcla no se trata de llenar el espacio. Se trata de saber dónde colocar cada elemento.

Reverbs para crear profundidad, transientes para definir distancia y estéreo para generar contraste.

Piensa en la mezcla como un puzle: todo debe encajar para que el oído respire, no para crear caos.

¿Tu mezcla suena plana?

Una buena mezcla no consiste en hacer que todo suene más fuerte.

Se trata de darle a cada elemento su propio espacio dentro del campo estéreo y la profundidad.

🥁 Kick + Sub → Centro
🎤 Voces → Centro
🎧 Hats + Leads → Laterales
🌌 Reverb + Delay → Atrás

Menos saturación. Más espacio. Más profundidad.

🎚️ EL MAPA 3D DE UNA MEZCLA

Una buena mezcla no consiste simplemente en subir y bajar volúmenes.

Se trata de organizar los elementos dentro de un espacio tridimensional

↕️ ALTURA — Frecuencia
Qué elementos ocupan el sub, medios y agudos.

↔️ ANCHO — Estéreo
Qué elementos están al centro y cuáles se abren hacia los lados.

↗️ PROFUNDIDAD — Distancia
Qué elementos están delante y cuáles dejamos más atrás.

En música electrónica, por ejemplo:

🔊 Kick + Sub Bass → generalmente al centro y con la información más grave controlada en mono.

🥁 Clap / Snare → elemento central importante, pero su espacio puede variar según el género.

🎩 Hi-Hats + Percusiones → pueden abrirse para generar movimiento y amplitud.

🎤 Voz→ normalmente ocupa una posición central y protagonista.

🎹 Leads + Synths + FX→ pueden desplazarse hacia los costados para crear profundidad y sensación de espacio.

El objetivo no es que todo suene grande

El objetivo es que cada elemento tenga su propio lugar

Cuando cada sonido encuentra su posición, la mezcla comienza a sentirse como una canción y no como un conjunto de sonidos compitiendo entre sí.

Mezclar también es decidir dónde vive cada sonido.🎛️

Mezclar es conseguir que todos los elementos trabajen juntos.

• Crear planos y profundidad
• Dar espacio a cada elemento
• Controlar las dinámicas y reducir picos
• Evitar que todo suene encima de todo
• Empastar los sonidos para que funcionen como uno
• Conseguir que la canción tenga movimiento, claridad y pegada

Una buena mezcla no busca que cada sonido destaque por separado.

🎚️ Why Your Mix Sounds Muddy – Read This Before Touching Another EQ

In this project, I used FabFilter Pro-Q 3 to clean resonant frequencies and create separation, especially in the low-mid range, where mixes often get muddy and lose punch.

🔍 Here’s what I did:

✅ 1. Shaping the low-mids (50–250 Hz)
I applied wide, gentle bell cuts to reduce excess energy that was clashing with the kick and sub. This opens space without killing the warmth of the sound.

✅ 2. Midrange resonance control (500–1.2 kHz)
I used narrow Q cuts to tame nasal or boxy frequencies. These subtle moves clean the core of the sound and help it sit better in the mix.

✅ 3. High-mid harshness control (3–8 kHz)
I dipped a few harsh peaks and used one dynamic band that activates only when needed. This keeps the brightness without adding ear fatigue.

🎯 The result: a more balanced, transparent sound that plays well with others in the mix — especially in busy, layered arrangements.

💡 Quick tip: Always EQ in context, not in solo. The goal isn’t to make a sound pretty on its own, but to make it work in the full track.
