I feel like this plant speaks to me, but maybe I’m the only one that understands. From a seedling it’s shown me that it wanted to be great for that reason I named it pretty early on. I called it jungle gum, gum because of the way it keeps the pink vein and jungle, of course, because of the origins of the genus. It stood the test of this year as it’s been maybe one of the toughest years of my plant journey, but she stood strong! She has watered my spirit, shown her will to live and shown me boundaries. Jungle Gum is definitely a staple in my collection. #exoticsinadhd #anthurium #anthuriumcollector by @401foliage_hunter

And so another one makes the wall. From seeding to glory! 🫶🏽 Forgetii was one of 4 anthurium I originally collected and imported when I had no knowledge and all confidence! I the plant journey is like that for some people, we just learn along the way! Never took any of this to seriously as in I never let the hobby stress me, I let it cater to me by catering to it. Simple. I was talking to a friend the other day a he said “you never master horticulture” I found that profoundly relatable. Anyway this plant I’m really excited for! So much potential in the breeding program!

You meet people every day but there’s not always a spark or connection and that’s OK. It’s funny how the Internet brings us together sometimes. I’m the only boy in my family (probably where my respect for women comes from and runs so deep) (fun fact I guess you can say! 🤷🏽‍♂️😄)but somehow I ended up with a few brothers along the way! The beautiful soul that I acquired this baby from just so happens to be one of my biggest inspirations, not just because he’s a awesome breeder but his passion and the life energy, that spunk he literally spews out and infects you is spamazing! Yes that’s a word I made up just now! Special and amazing! 😄 shout out my guy @anthuriumpapa 🫶🏽🕺🏽💪🏽 This baby had to make the page! 🥵 Dory X Carla 🌱 by @401foliage_hunter

I think it’s only right that the green monster makes the page. This plant has grown on me so much over the last 2 to 3 months! I call it the green monster after the wall at Fenway due to its color and baseball like veining! This is Scott pap “3” ( actually 1X2) X KOS 🌱
I’ll tell you one thing! My bredren doesn’t miss too often! 🎯💚 by @401foliage_hunter

It’s really such a honor to be able to grow these plants and to be sponsored by one of the smartest and passionate people that I know! A little over a year into being a part of @exoticsinadhd and I’m still just as mind blown as the first day! To growth and progression!
This is one of the newest hybrids in the adhd arsenal!

The story behind this plant is pretty interesting. Acquired from @anthuriumstory about a year ago. One of her sisters from the same batch went to the Princeville Botanical Garden. That’s no small deal! I’m sure it’s a honor for Jorge and it’s also special to me for that reason also but this plant is also officially named BVEP Elsa Maritza after my partners late grandmother, bringing even more meaning the story. But it doesn’t stop there! Life happens sometimes and this was one of the only plants I was able to get back into my collection. 🪴🫶🏽💪🏾 #anthurium #anthuriumcollector #anthuriumbvep #anthuriumaddict by @401foliage_hunter

You see what’s going on here?! Certain plants stand out early on and this Clari x NSE Delta Force Clone is in that category! Already showing great characteristics from both parents! #anthurium #anthuriumcollector #plantcommunity #exoticsinadhd 🪴🤙🏽💚 by @401foliage_hunter
