POSTS STORIES REELS

I had to break my hiatus from Instagram to post this. As many of you know by now, “Tricities Car Enthusiasts” had a “meet up” on our park in Kingsport. I’ve been told there was visible damage done, but I have yet to verify that.

We as a community work very hard to keep this place nice for all of us to skate.
Now I talked to the parks department, they said that they were asked to leave by park employees, to keep from causing damage

But I’ve also talked to one of the drivers. They said they were told it was fine by not only the park employees (1:30pm) ,but police that showed up after dark (5pm ish). He even said “he knows one the cops”. He wouldn’t give the name of that officer.

I’m not sure who to believe in this situation because if the cops had to come back out after they were told to leave, you would think there would’ve been tickets given or something?

Bottom line we as the skating community are the stewards of these spaces. If we see something like this happening, it’s our responsibility to make it known this is unacceptable by ALL parties involved. by @423skateboarding
