My husband Georgie has entered the chat 😅🔥

He’s 53 and works on his mobility every day….especially his shoulder and wrist strength.

Today he’s teaching us some breakdance footwork, including the classic 6-step. This kind of movement is SO good for us.

Footwork patterns like this challenge the brain to stack movement sequences, stay present, coordinate rhythm and timing, and so much more.

Then add the strength side of it… learning how to support and move your own body weight is incredibly important for longevity.
Even the floor transitions and break falls help strengthen wrists, improve mobility, and build confidence moving through space.

It took me a few goes to get it when he taught me.. and I’m still practicing to get the right technique!

Anyone remember this place. 😎

It was 1995 and we’d do every day rehearsals with ‘The Dance’.
No phones no distractions, just good music.. good people… and tunnel vision learning moves that we were watching on VHS tapes… Tapes that took MONTHS to receive in the mail from all over the world. I remember getting those tapes was like Christmas! 🎁
