Another multiple performance day and We made it through!!!!

Some days remind me exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

From early mornings to late nights, long drives, multiple performances, tired feet, and everything in between… it’s all worth it when I look at these kids.

People see the performances, but they don’t always see the sacrifices, the dedication, the love, and the village it takes to make moments like these possible.

It’s so much bigger than drums. We’re building confidence, creating memories, teaching life lessons, and giving our kids something positive to be a part of. Every opportunity, every experience, and every moment together matters.

We may end the day exhausted, but my heart is always full. I pray that one day these kids look back and realize just how loved, supported, and believed in they truly were.

This is more than an academy. This is family. And I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything. 🥹❤️

@daddy2utrina @813stoptheviolence thank you for the beautiful shirts that keep our kids looking great every performance and also allowed for the wardrobe change for our last performance. Thank you for supporting and believing in our youth!!! by @813stoptheviolence

Let me speak from the heart: this award isn’t for likes or views. It’s CONFIRMATION that the prayers, sacrifices, and hard work mean something. 😉
God gave me an assignment, and that assignment came with responsibility, not a promise of applause. There were days I was tired, discouraged, and pouring into others when my own cup needed filling. 👈🏾 I kept showing up. AND WILL ! You don’t have to clap for me, but please don’t overlook the reason we do this. #2014 …. Our children deserve to grow up. Our families deserves justice!! Our community deserves people willing to put in the work.
I’m grateful for this honor and everyone who has stood beside me. 💯💪🏾😍 But the award doesn’t mean the assignment is finished.
The applause is optional. The assignment is personal. And I’m still working. 4years ago , I received a award from another city.. Now look at God in 813 🌹 2026 🏆 #813stoptheviolence #dontwait #lovetheliving Meet us there , or just tune in ! I have something to say , and people to thank.. 💯 God Bless!! TRINADAD Mrs,.
