Hi! Something big happened last Friday, magically on the day of the lunar eclipse in Pisces 🌖🎓

Despite (or because of) the voice in my head that didn’t think I could do it ~ I keep returning to the parts of me that find a way through hard things ~ creatively, relationally

And now I lowkey have a masters degree 🤣 allowing me to be with & alongside others who seek the transformative power of creative arts therapy

Thank you to all the beautiful souls at @the_miecat_institute & beyond who cracked my heart so wide open these last few years & expanded my belief in what’s possible 🥹💖💐 by @__re.belle

‘Before the Rebirth’ ~ embroidery thread, translucent paper, silver birch twigs

This little multimodal piece will soon be hanging out in ‘Winter Gems’ @gemszine exhibition at @the_paul_thornbury, opening celebration on Saturday August 8th, 2 - 4pm 🤍❄️

I’ve been in a deep Winter phase of life this year, needing to slow right down after completing a huge cycle of learning, growth, grief & letting go.

Feeling tethered in the void & not-yet-knowns, I’ve been taking time to tie up loose ends, rest & integrate, conserving & restoring energy before the rebirth of Spring 🪺 by @__re.belle

3. Reflections / offerings from others in the workshop ~ about what felt key witnessing this

4. Heart / part of creative synthesis

6. & 7. Expressions from final co-creating experience in group

👀 emerging often in my creative / self care processes this year — during semester, placement & this (much needed) break — prompting reflections on

👁️ Awareness, perception, paying attention
👁️ Noticing, looking, (choosing) to see and be seen
👁️ Witnessing (from) the scars, the healing

Ever grateful for my therapeutic arts journey with @the_miecat_institute 🦋 — learning, evolving, (co)creating different ways of seeing & being by @__re.belle

Practicing being a beginner 🌱
Welcoming curiosity, wonder, tenderness & radical acceptance within the discomfort of the unknown; unlearning self-abandonment
