It’s better to cook in life than to let life cook you by @__thetimeisnow

Don't Water Down the Word. Preach It as It Is! by @__thetimeisnow

You only become a loser when you quit. Don’t give up on the things the Lord has told you to do, you never know the lives that are dependent on your obedience. by @__thetimeisnow

The truth is you don't wait to feel bold. You just start.
Most of us think boldness comes first, then action. But it works the other way around. God says “preach the gospel”, so you just obey! Boldness grows in the act of obedience.

And how can you prepare yourself to obey?
1. Spend time with Jesus. The more you know Him, the less you can keep quiet about Him.

2. Start with yourself. Let your own life be the first place the gospel is preached.

3. Say something today. A conversation, an invitation, a simple "Jesus changed my life." Small steps count.

You don't need a pulpit, a perfect résumé, or the right moment. Go preach the Gospel
The time is now! by @__thetimeisnow

There was a time the only thing I could say in front of people was “Jesus loves you,” and then I’d quickly walk away. Standing up to preach used to feel impossible for me.

But during a recent trip, I made a decision: I would preach in every form of transport I entered. I told Pastor Natasha, and she encouraged me. I prayed about it and also spoke to my family.

So I started.
I preached in the Uber.
I preached on the train.

Then came the plane. I stood up, looked around, saw a sea of people, and sat right back down. I won’t lie, I felt discouraged for a while.

But I told myself I wouldn’t end there.

So I pushed again. I went to the mall, and by God’s grace, with boldness, I finally did it.

God is truly helping me grow 🙏 by @__thetimeisnow

I felt like I was shaking in my boots because it wasn’t planned. During youth evangelism one Saturday, my friend and I went into the mall, and one suggested we open-air preach. My stomach got in knots. I hadn’t prepared a message and wasn’t planning to.

We kept sharing flyers and the gospel. Later, in the food court, she brought it up again, and this time I felt convicted. The phrase “The Time Is Now” came to my mind, like the Holy Spirit was saying there was no reason to wait. I told her I’d do it after she finished, so she could hold me accountable.

While she still was preaching, a teenager nearby started heckling, saying, “I’m gay!” I asked him, “Okay, so? Did Jesus not die for gay people?” We started talking, and I could see his guard come down. He wasn’t being judged. He was meeting a Jesus who loves him.

Then it was my turn, and I panicked: what would I say? The Holy Spirit told me it was simple. Jesus loves you, Jesus saves, Jesus heals. So I shared that, briefly.

Afterwards I was shaken but proud. Jesus overcame his own reluctance to go to the cross because he loved us, and this felt like my way of showing love back.

You can’t do better until you’ve started. Just start, then refine. by @__thetimeisnow

Your past doesn't disqualify you by @__thetimeisnow

If you feel like tou lost your fire for God, go back to the basics. Remember what led to you burning for Him, it was your desire and curiosity of Him. You can get that back, go back to your first love, treat Him like you just found about Him. Don’t act too familiar with God.. by @__thetimeisnow

Sometimes a change of perspective is all you need to make you more convicted in your walk with Christ by @__thetimeisnow

Fear of open air evangelism rarely comes from the preaching itself. It comes from what we imagine people will think, say, or do. The fear of man is a trap, and it silences more believers than any opposition ever will. Since fear is a feeling and not a verdict, you can learn to obey God even while it is present. How? Three things:

1. Perspective- fear grows when your eyes are on yourself and shrinks when they are on the lost. Remember what is at stake: someone walking past may never hear the Gospel again. Mockery lasts a moment, but a soul is eternal. The more you value the souls in front of you, the less you'll value the opinions of onlookers.

2. Community- you were never meant to stand alone. Go out with a team, pray with them and take turns sharing so the weight is carried together. Courage is contagious, and it is much easier to step out when you can feel believers standing right beside you.

3. Prayer- prayer replaces fear with boldness. Before you go, ask the Holy Spirit to remove the fear of man, fill you with courage, and give you the words to speak. The apostles prayed for boldness in the face of threats, and God answered. He will answer you too.

The more you do these, the weaker fear becomes, and the more you'll discover that God is faithful to those who step out for Him. by @__thetimeisnow
