Race 1 of the southern cross country league done! Great course, tough competition kept me on my toes. Can't wait to see how I can up my game in the next races. by @_accountabilitycorner
Episode 56 is out now!! In this episode, we unpack the highs, mud, and madness from Spartan Hvar Sprint World Championships and Storm OCR ā€” two races that truly tested our consistency, mindset, and everything weā€™ve been talking about all season. We chat about: What got us to the start line and how we performed on the day How staying consistent built the foundation for those results A quick life update (including a pregnancy education moment from Chris!) And yesā€¦ a big tangent at the end that made us realise we need a whole episode on how to manage all the race series coming in 2026 Itā€™s real, raw, and full of laughs ā€” a proper catch-up between three athletes figuring it all out, one race (and tangent) at a time. @britishobstaclesports @spartanraceuk @thestormrace by @_accountabilitycorner
This week, weā€™re diving into the three big pillars of obstacle course racing success ā€” strength, agility, and technical ability. We break down how we each train, where we struggle, and how we keep pushing both physically and mentally to get better every race. As always, we go off on a few tangents (you know how it goes!) ā€” but itā€™s an honest, fun, and insightful chat packed with real takeaways, laughs, and a reminder that progress in OCR isnā€™t just about the repsā€¦ itā€™s about mindset, movement, and showing up consistently. If youā€™re serious about levelling up your training or just love hearing how others approach the grind, this oneā€™s for you. @3km_ocr_seriesuk @spartanraceuk @britishobstaclesports @uk.ocr by @_accountabilitycorner
Short course racing isnā€™t usually my thing, but I love giving all forms of obstacle racing a go. And this series has been perfect, with some great technical races, and a nice community feel. This season I was using the @3km_ocr_seriesuk as training / conditioning races, and somehow worked out how to actually race them. Usually I blow up my grip by going out too hot - as I did at Tartan Warrior at the start of the season. Finished the 3K league season with an overall 3rd place finish at @theptbarn and pending final league results I should have claimed the Masters league win. A big shout out to everyone who has made the 3K series possible, I reckon it is really helping to improve British OCR athletes in the format. Accountability Corner Course Walk, PT Barn 3k 28th September - Listen to our latest episode today!! Just over 1 week until the @3km_ocr_seriesuk finale, who will make it on the podium? Some amazing course put on by @theptbarn And @fitbodyfarm @britishobstaclesports @uk.ocr by @_accountabilitycorner
1st place at @bornsurvivoruk last weekend šŸ„‡preview into what some of the course looked like! Probably up there with one of my favourite venues Iā€™ve been to in the UK, courses was really well balanced and the running tough in places šŸ«  personally Iā€™d like to see this venue be the @uk.ocr series race instead if it doesnā€™t clash with anything šŸ¤” by @_accountabilitycorner
