🔥🎤 CV SLAM FEST ‘26 — FEATURED POET

Alex Nuno
Filmmaker. Artist. Storyteller.

@_alexandra_nuno
Hey, I’m Alex Nuno — filmmaker, artist, big sister. A proud Mexican woman, born and raised in San Diego. I create in whatever ways I can. From scripts to cardboard mini worlds, if there’s an idea, I try to bring it to life.
Directing and producing at Peppermint Films is my professional passion, but I’m always inspired by trying new things. Slamming for the first time at CV Fest is an honor, and I couldn’t ask for a better audience than my people, my home.
Thank you for sharing your ears with me… I hope you enjoy.

Don’t miss the chance to support your poet at the first ever CV Slam Fest — April 25th, Memorial Park Bowl Amphitheater, Chula Vista, 12PM. FREE to the public! by @_alexandra_nuno

Best birthday ever 👸🏽❤️‍🔥💋 by @_alexandra_nuno

2025 I spent most of my year recovering and in crutches. As of today I am officially off crutches!!! New year, new knee, same me hehe 😛🙏 super grateful and blessed to be able to have the opportunity to be healed. I looked back at a lot of my personal videos I took throughout the year while I was in bed, this one always brought a smile to my face. Sharing here to show my gratitude for a long but needed year🩷. Thank you 2025 for all you brought and took from me, 2026 see you tmmr? by @_alexandra_nuno

Getting Along With Your Hair Starts Here | @odelebeauty

“Odele” is phonetically from the Norwegian verb å dele, meaning “to share.” The idea is that their products can be shared across hair types, textures, ages, gender, etc.

This inspired curly headed director Alex Nuno to create a short thirty second spot for Odele Beauty!

Learning something new is always fun. As of recently my hobbies have been going into random classes in the music building to play piano (I have zero experience playing piano) and sewing (have zero experience with sewing). Month in so far and honestly I’m doing pretty good :) #student4life by @_alexandra_nuno
