High glaciers and alpine huts in New Zealand's Southern Alps. All our food on our backs, snow melted for water. Changing weather, changing snow, complex terrain, far from the rush of everyday life. Now and then a bar of signal drifts in, and we remember this is just one small corner of the world. #altayproject #skitrip #nzlife by @_altayproject
From Altay to New Zealand and beyond. This winter, 300 instructors at Cardrona and Treble Cone are wearing Altay Project uniforms. We also outfit ski schools and mountain teams in other parts of the world. See you on the mountain. #altayproject #Cardrona #treblecone #skiouterwear #newzealandwinter by @_altayproject
High on New Zealand’s Tasman Glacier, the Altay Project team found a home for the night at Kelman Hut. Between ski touring days, we shared meals, traded stories, and added our names to the hut book. A small part of a tradition carried by everyone who passes through: take care of the place, and leave it ready for whoever comes next. To us, the beauty of New Zealand’s hut system lies in a simple act: taking care of people we may never meet. #AltayProject #tasmanglacier #KelmanHut #SkiTouring #SkiMountaineering #NewZealand #hutlife @pcpcppc by @_altayproject
I met @pcpcppc and @chengyin_natalie on course skiing in Hemu, China last winter Hemu in the Altay Mountain Range, Xinjiang. They founded the @_altayproject , and I’m stoked to be rocking their outerwear this winter. . It’s only taken me 30+ winters to start the process to be learning to be cool with my fit (ears out, bandana in, baggy fit), but loving the new look and look forward to going back to China and deepening ties with the Altay mountains, the Chinese skiing community and the @_altayproject into the future. by @_altayproject

It was super lucky to have a good window for Mt Yotei in January. The weather and snowpack were super nice. We ran over 1700m vertical drop from the summit. Thanks for hokkaidowilds’ map it’s a big help. #backcountryskiing #mtyotei #altayproject @_altayproject by @_altayproject

It's gonna be a bumpy ride...! Day off in the bumps in China. Fresh (man made) snow makes for cruisey bumps, even on the steepest run! #skiing #skiingislife #skiinstructor #csiaamsc #csia #altayproject by @_altayproject
