We’re celebrating graduation AND vulnerability! 👩🏼‍🎓

You are seeing this in July- 7 months after I received my degree. While I would have rather announced my graduation sooner, the delay speaks perfectly to the year I’ve had.

I graduated during the most difficult time of my life.

I graduated as a first generation student, which at the time didn’t feel as impressive as it does now. However, being a first generation student meant taking a risk, figuring things out (a lot on my own), and making it work.

Since it sometimes feel like “making it work,” it’s important to actively recognize that this is actually a big deal.

I did it doubtful, I did it afraid, I did it ambitious, I did it!

I got to pursue my passion of creativity in the form of a Graphic Design B.S. If there’s one thing I’ve always known about myself it’s that I fit inside the creative box (or lack there of).

I feel so grateful to have never lost my spark for creating in these transformative years of my life. ✨
