Around three years ago was when I started a journey that has become a highlighting fixture of my life. A lot can change in three years. At the time, I thought I had everything figured out: where I wanted to go, what I wanted to be, and who I wanted to do it with. Yet, I have fallen through on all of those plans except for one.

I started weightlifting as a means to fill a void of time where I could let my mind not wander and worry about the other struggles of life. The meaning was to forget.

Nothing can be planned when circumstances, people, and you change by the day. For the better and for the worse. Ultimately, you build something that becomes the new you.

I have been fortunate enough to develop a life where I am conscious of this and attempt to do what makes me feel free.

The meaning is no longer to forget.

The meaning is now to unlock a door to where I can feel that freedom and to better myself for the next day and to not need to worry about the future that I cannot predict. by @_armstrongfitness
