The day I landed in UK 🇬🇧 , I carried a dream with me — to bring my family here one day and finally show them the life I was building. There were so many hurdles along the way, so much struggle, so many nights of hard work when giving up felt easier than pushing forward. But I held on, because this dream was bigger than the exhaustion.

Then it happened✨. I brought them here. And seeing them again after 1.6 years apart was, without question, the most beautiful moment of my life🫶🏽.

When New Year came around, people kept asking me, “What’s your wish for this year?” I went quiet every time. How could I tell them? I already had something so big, so unbelievable, that I could never have put it into words.

I wanted their welcome to be special, so I made them a bouquet with my own hands. When they finally walked toward me, I couldn’t stop hugging them, couldn’t stop holding on. I actually pinched myself, just to be sure this wasn’t a dream — that they were really here, standing in front of me.🥹🥹

For so long, all I could do was video call them and show them around the UK through a screen 🥹— pointing my phone at the streets, the shops, the little things, wishing so badly they could see it with their own eyes instead of mine. And now, finally, I didn’t need the phone anymore. I could just hold their hands and walk them through it all — live, real, no screen in between. After years of showing them my world from a distance, I finally got to live it with them.
