A logo is not a brand. Neither are your brand colours, Instagram page or that one viral video. In today’s attention economy, visibility is often mistaken for value, and aesthetics for strategy. But a brand is built on intentional positioning, consistency, credibility, reputation and trust. It is the distinction between being noticed and being deliberately chosen. This was one of the conversations at The Brand Business Masterclass in Abuja, where @_diaryofada and I, alongside @aproko_doctor and @lesijolu.eite, explored the business of building brands beyond appearances. Because “looking like a brand and building one are two entirely different things.” The real question is: When the attention fades, what remains that makes you worth choosing? 📸 @jklefpikshures 🙌🏾 by @_black_currant

Last week, we brought together the entire ecosystem - medical creators from different disciplines, journalists, policy shapers, and representatives from development and communication agencies to The Long Table. This wasn't just a dinner, it was an act of construction. Our mission was building the framework of a system that unifies our different silos ensuring that life saving information gets to the last mile. To our guests- Thank you for bringing your honesty and spirit and your agreement to the table. 🥂 to saving lives. #thelongtable #healthadvocacy #buildingtheecosystem by @_black_currant
Happy birthday to me. Today, I am sitting with the quiet weight of everything I’ve become. I look back at the versions of me I’ve outgrown with so much gratitude, and I look forward to many more in store. I am the catalyst of my own light, and this new chapter feels like the beginning of my most intentional building yet. Cheers 🥂 to the unfolding, the impact, and a future that shines brighter than I ever dared to dream. by @_black_currant
