To anyone out there struggling… everyone has a story. Life is not a straight line. Recovery looks different for everyone. I got started at 16 with Opiods. The AMA classified addiction as a disease in the 50’s. This is a slideshow of my journey. I remember getting sick. Almost dying. Several times. I’ve had MULTIPLE operations, with another one possibly coming up for my leg. 5 surgeries, over 20 broken bones, 8 concussions and a whole slew of issues from using. All from ages 14-(current). Life is messy. If you’re struggling please reach out. Remember - just because someone is an addict, doesn’t mean they’re a bad person. They’re just sick. Please treat them with love and kindness. The same kind you would show a sick friend. I wouldn’t trade my best day using for my worst day sober. Not in a million years. Everyone has a story. Just because most people pretend to be fine on social media doesn’t mean they’re are. Check in with your friends. Love is more powerful than hate.🖤❤️‍🩹🖤 (I’ve lost friends to this disease. It’s more serious than most realize). Don’t be afraid to share this. Please. I’m not ashamed of my past. I’ve accepted it. (The last post is me at almost 2 years. It does get better. I promise.) - even tho I’ve been to the ER three times this month with a six day unpaid vacation. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. 🤍💟🤍

I feel honored to win boys bowler of the year at the Willco Awards tonight. Without my teammates, coaches and parents, I wouldn't be where I am today. Huge shout-out to the other nominees, they all pushed me to be a better athlete and person as a whole. Couldn't ask for a better team. ⚓

Step 3: Made a DECISION to turn out WILL and our LIVES over to the care of God (as WE understood HIM).
