After Dark Chronicles: Hobby Edition

Let me admit it… I’m a #nightowl which is why I’m a #nightshiftnurse … most times after I’ve worked multiple nights, I struggle with sleep! But I have to flip so that I can spend time with my family on my off days! At least I prefer to flip my schedule! And having hobbies I can carry in a caddy to my bed just helps me out so much!

I’ve always been a chronic hobbyist! If it involves me taking a moment from life, I’m all in! And maybe 🤔 being an only child also contributed to my chronic hobbyist tendencies… anyway … when I’m up at night like tonight … these are some of the hobbies I’m doing!!!

✔️ Coloring
✔️ Mind Puzzles preferably Sudoku
✔️ Reading on my Kindle

This isn’t a long list but just some of the things I enjoy 😉 in bed while my wife sleeps! I know that sounds weird but listen … I miss enough nights not being by her when I’m at work!

What are your go to hobbies? List them in the comments 👇🏾

My latest wishlist gifts that were sent to me!

I’m sooo grateful for each of these items! A cozy wearable blanket, a reading journal, and a kindle charm! Love love love this!!! Special thanks to the babes who grabbed these items off my Amazon wishlist!

The wishlist gifts have been one of the things that @prettygirlsdoread offer! And I’m so grateful! The best part I love about the group is the connection to other amazing readers.

This event was whimsical, fun and came with a LONG but worth it wait!

Yesterday, I attended the Chicago @coach Tabby Tour pop up event in Millennium Park! It was so cute and such a vibe! I didn’t feel rushed and was able to take videos and pictures!

I also swapped a book, and got a cute book mark!

The book I chose “Friday I’m In Love” by @camryngwrites … I’ve never read any of her work so I’m excited 😆 about this!!!

Have you attended one of these events before?!??!
