🍋close proximity arc review🍋

Thank you @vykpeters for a copy of your new release. I'm still dying over this cover and cannot wait to read the rest of your work!

Captions aren't working 😭 but to sum up: I'm not a sporty person and so haven't read sports romance (this is only my second one!), however, I really loved it and had so much fun with the characters (especially the hooligan group of oldies!)

Cannot recommend highly enough! 💛💙

🎃prompt 10 - scariest book🎃

Hands down, so far the scariest book I've read is The Glad Shout by @ciaoalicerobinson While considered literary fiction and climate fiction, this is more terrifying than any horror I've read. Anything to do with natural disasters and the world ending freaks me out! 🌏

Once @tales.of.phantasia releases her book, that will be my scariest book! I'm beta reading it and only almost half way through and have already had a few nightmares 😂🫣 that's how good it is!

⛈️Blurb for 'The Glad Shout'⛈️
After a catastrophic storm destroys Melbourne, Isobel flees to higher ground with her husband and young daughter. Food and supplies run low, panic sets in and still no help arrives. To protect her daughter, Isobel must take drastic action.

THE GLAD SHOUT is an extraordinary novel of rare depth and texture. Told in a starkly visual and compelling narrative, this is a deeply moving homage to motherhood and the struggles faced by women in difficult times.
