A love letter to Illinois State - Transferring in two years ago from community college was scary, overwhelming, and exciting. I felt as though making friends would be impossible as a junior , and moving into my very own apartment would be terrifying. It was actually quite the opposite. Coming here was one of, if not the best decision I have ever made. ISU introduced me to my future bridesmaids, my love for partying and dancing, discipline with school, trying new things, saying yes to anything that I knew would become a beautiful memory, and overall lead me to finding myself as a person. This college will always have such a special place in my heart. Even though I wish I could’ve spent all four of my years here, I am eternally grateful for the time that I did have.
