Sharing my financial journey from poverty to wealth! 🎙️Fresh Moni - Award Winning Business Podcast 🏡 And Mortgage Adviser

POSTS STORIES REELS

COMMENT 'Lou' for the full episode out now!!

Sometimes the plan changes, then it changes again!

She's a mum, a businesswoman, Managing Director, and an important part of the team working behind the scenes alongside her husband, Stan Walker.

This week on Fresh Moni, I'm joined by Lou Walker

What I loved about this talanoa is that it wasn't simply a conversation about success. It was about everything that sits behind it.

The decisions, the pressure, the responsibilities, family, business, supporting the people you love and recognising when the season you're in means you need to pivot again.

We talk about how Lou manages the many different parts of her life while making sure wellbeing doesn't get pushed to the bottom of the list.

There are some really valuable lessons in this episode for anyone juggling family, career, business and their own ambitions.

🎙️ Lou Walker on Fresh Moni is OUT NOW. Lets talk about money!!

Ever felt not Samoan enough? Tongan enough? or Māori enough? You are not alone!

The truth is, if you are 1% Samoan or 1% of a culture, then you are enough!
The blood of your ancestors runs through your veins!

Embrace all parts, no matter how large or small, of who you are! LFG!! by @_fresh_moni_

From Pacific roots to Parliament, there’s a story behind the person we see in the public eye.

On our next Fresh Moni Podcast, we talanoa with @barbaraedmondsmp about her early life, Samoan upbringing, career journey and the experiences that shaped who she is today.

We also explore what it’s really like working in public service, the opportunities and challenges of being Pasifika in these spaces, and her advice for the next generation.

It’s about the person behind the politics and the stories we don’t often get to hear.

🎙️ Fresh Moni Podcast Episode drops tomorrow! Stay tuned for the full talanoa. by @_fresh_moni_

Great questions, meaningful talanoa and a room full of people wanting to take the next step towards home ownership! 🏡🙌

Yesterday, we had the privilege of bringing our Fresh Moni Home Ownership Fono to the amazing Pasifika community in Nelson for the first time!

Absolutely loved the questions, the sharing of experiences and seeing our people grow in confidence as they realise that home ownership might be more achievable than they think.

A huge thank you to Taifau and the team at Nelson Tasman Pasifika Community Trust @nelson.pasifika for the warm welcome and bringing everyone together. Such an awesome turnout!

And of course, Nelson turned on the beautiful weather as always! ☀️ And I have to give a special mention to the chop suey - so good!!

Special thanks to the @ministryforpacificpeoples_ for making these opportunities possible.

Because when our communities have access to the right knowledge and support, we open doors for more Pasifika families to build wealth for future generations.

Lessgooo!!
