A year ago you couldn’t have told me that I would be presented with opportunities, signing contracts, running businesses, and walking through doors the way that I am now.

Some of the greatest battles I’ve fought, were the ones no one knew I was fighting, and today I was able to celebrate publicly what I have been building privately. I’m learning that God doesn’t open the next door until you stop standing in front of the one he told you to close.

Thank you @festivalfactoryevents! Continue being the great human you are and doing amazing things.

One day I hopped in my truck and decided to go shopping for contracts to find a home for my business. I packed up my business cards, my menu flyers, a sausage biscuit, turned on some very loud music🥴, and got on the road.

I went door to door introducing myself, and introducing my business. Some even heard me coming before they saw me😂. I asked for opportunities. I heard no. I heard maybe. I heard we’ll get back to you. And sometimes, I heard nothing at all.

But I kept knocking.😐

What started as me walking into businesses asking for an opportunity turned into a contract, a partnership, and a home for my business.

Rejection doesn’t always mean you’re not qualified. Sometimes it simply means you haven’t reached YOUR door yet.

So if you’re building something right now, keep showing up. Keep making the phone calls. Keep sending the emails. Keep introducing yourself. Keep asking. Keep praying. Keep knocking. Turn up the music😏

You don’t need every door to open. You just need the right one. And when it finally opens, you’ll understand why the others didn’t. 🌱

Another seed planted, another prayer answered, and another reminder that faith still requires footsteps.

God runs my hands, so God gets my glory🙌🏾💚

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Sometimes I look at my life and I get emotional because I remember the version of me who had no idea how any of this was going to come together.

And somehow, through every season, God kept pulling another version of me forward.

The nurse.
The wife.
The mother.
The Landlord.
The chef.
The business owner.
The woman who kept going.
The woman who learned to travel, dream bigger, build, create, take risks and believe that her life could become more than what she had already known.

When I watch this, I don’t just see pictures and videos.

I see prayers.
I see sacrifice.
I see late nights.
I see tears nobody knew about.
I see courage.
I see growth.
I see God’s hand all over my life.

I don’t recognize the woman who used to doubt herself anymore. And the part that gets me the most?
I know He’s still not finished with me. 🥹🌱
I’m still becoming her.

“Do not despise small beginnings “

There are parts of you that can only be developed in solitude. Strength that requires silence. Wisdom that requires separation. And peace that requires distance. I prayed, he listened, and these are the results.
