Do Hard Things! ⚡️🤩 @hokahalf Half-Marathon
#run #hokahalfmarathon #dothehardthings #endurance #fyp by @_heyitsbeauty_

Competing at the Deadly Dozen World Championships 2026 was a dream I didn’t even know I had - man, what an absolute joy of a day.

This fitness journey has uncovered dreams, passions & abilities greater than my wildest imagination.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have represented RSA 🇿🇦 - I legit need to pinch myself everytime I think about it, because I’m still in awe.

Matthew McConaughey once said you need three things each day: something to look up to, something to look forward to, and someone to chase.

In this sport - I look to God daily and give thanks for breath in my lungs and a body that is able to do what I desire to do and the opportunities and doors He opens as well as the ones He closes.

I look forward to the shared moments and life with my family, friends and community - to have people that believe in you more than you believe in yourself is truly the most amazing feeling - people that have encouraged, loved on and carried me! and the strangers that become friends and the friends that become family, never underestimate the bonds that are formed within sport.

and finally, I’ve become someone I would want to keep chasing - my hero has become future me, I’ve been intentional about vision boards in the last few years and every year I’m more and more inspired to do more, be more and see and experience more. Little me would not believe half the things I’d tell her, and I want to keep shocking myself!

So if you’re unsure of where to start, JUST START- find your passions and pursue them wholeheartedly.
