I really thought I was going to achieve so much today because my son was asleep and I finally had some time to myself😂

I had plans, ideas, everything! But somehow, I ended up scrolling, journaling, brainstorming and eventually sleeping😭

Omo, content creation is not beans. Abeg, I can’t come and kill myself. There’s always another day😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this!

My go-to menu whenever I don’t feel like stressing myself in the kitchen Easy to make, straightforward, and always hits the spot!
Sometimes, you don’t need to do too much to enjoy a good meal.

Going back to work after one year of maternity leave, I knew I wouldn’t remember everything, and that was okay🥹

Here are 5 things I did on my first day back:

1. Prepared ahead: Packed my lunch and got everything ready the night before.
2. Asked questions: I didn’t pretend to remember things I had forgotten.
3. Reset my passwords: I forgot some of my passwords, postpartum brain is real😂
4. Checked with my teammates: I confirmed anything I wasn’t sure about instead of guessing.
5. Gave myself grace: I reminded myself that it would take time to get back into the routine.

If you’re returning to work after maternity leave, don’t put pressure on yourself to remember everything on day one❤️.

Lately, I’m learning to give myself a little more grace.

Life is already doing its thing, and I don’t want to make it harder by putting unnecessary pressure on myself.

I’m still learning, still growing, and trusting God through it all.

My Canada PR story and timeline 🇨🇦
Everyone’s case is different, but I hope it encourages you.

It has been two years of leaving home, new beginnings, becoming a mum, and a lot of waiting. It wasn’t always easy, but God has been faithful every step of the way.

If you’re in a waiting season right now, I see you. Keep trusting God and keep holding on. Your own good news is coming🙏

Officially a permanent resident of Canada🇨🇦.

Two years ago, we arrived with more faith than certainty. Today, I’m holding my PR card, and I’m still processing it.

Waiting is not the same as being forgotten. God saw us, remembered us, and kept His word.

To everyone still waiting on your papers, your visa, or your breakthrough: don’t let the delay convince you it’s denied. Keep praying. Your unboxing moment is coming.

We made it, by grace. God is so good!🥹
