I’ve been taking my time working through The Awe of God by John Bevere for the past month. I picked it up because I was sincerely searching for what it truly means to live for God, not just in words, but in truth and in deed The desire is to get to that place where pleasing God matters more than anything else. Where every other pursuit fades in comparison to knowing and obeying Him. That’s the goal. This book has been deeply challenging and encouraging. I highly recommend it. And while you’re here, enjoy the beauty of God reflected through me and my amazing friends. • • • #naturalblackgirls #christiansofinstagram #lifestylecreator #gymoutfits #xobakery by @_izehi

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Hearing clearly from God has been one of the greatest quests since I entered the Christian faith. I started learning about how God speaks to us sometime in 2020, and this book was incredibly helpful on that journey. If you’d like to receive a copy, please do the following: 1. I randomly started going through my diary from 2016 sometime last week, and I was genuinely shocked by what I read. Page after page was filled with self-hatred, self-condemnation and total fear. It reminded me of who I was before I truly understood what it meant to follow Jesus. Looking back now, I can confidently say that Jesus changed my life. He gave me purpose, healed wounds that could have shaped the rest of my teenage years and adulthood, and showed me that my identity was never meant to be found in my achievements or failures. Now, as life continues to get better (Proverbs 4:18), and I experience new opportunities and answered prayers, I’d be foolish to think any of those things could ever become my source of joy or fulfillment. Every good gift He gives is for His glory, but He Himself will always be my greatest delight. That’s my prayer for myself, and it’s my prayer for you too. 🤍 • Outfit Pants: @asos Shoes: @zara Bag: @coach Top: not sure😂 • #naturalblackgirls #christianquotesdaily #lifestylecreator #zarashoes by @_izehi
